Chapter 672

Chapter 672 Broken Into Pieces

Even though Maggie had taken care of that man, Alex could tell that she didn’t know martial arts. Thatkick was simply an act of instinct.

At that thought, he hurried over to where Maggie was, held on to her hand without hesitation, and stoodin front of her.

It warmed Maggie’s heart to see her hand in his even though she was well aware that Alex was simplylooking out for her. She couldn’t help but fall even harder for him.

Alex, I will make you fall in love with me in this lifetime.

Justin never expected Alex to single-handedly take down all of his lackeys.

By then, he wasn’t in the mood to capture Maggie’s attention anymore. The first thing he had to do wasto flee the scene.

“Alex, he’s trying to escape,” Maggie informed Alex.

After quickly taking out the remaining two men, Alex went after Justin and kicked him to the ground.

He then turned to Maggie and said, “I’ll leave him to you then. You can do whatever you want to him.He won’t be able to escape with me around.”

Maggie chuckled in delight at the sight before her. The high and mighty Ms. Grant felt like she could beherself around Alex.

Bending down, she picked up a metal rod and made her way toward Justin.

This threw Justin into a frenzy as he was about to get beaten up by the woman he was lusting after justa moment ago.

He quickly begged for mercy in order to save himself, “I’m so sorry, Miss. I shouldn’t have lusted afteryou. I’m so sorry. Please give me another chance!”

Despite that, Maggie didn’t change her mind. She lifted the rod and aimed at Justin’s head.

When the rod was just a few centimeters away from his face, she stopped short. However, Justin hadalready fainted from the fright.

“I was just trying to scare him. What a coward,” Maggie said sulkily.

On the other hand, Alex was curious as to why Maggie didn’t whack him. I thought she said she wantedto beat him to a pulp. Now that I’ve given her the chance to do so, why is she hesitating?

“I know what you want to say. My dress is worth hundreds of thousands. I don’t want to ruin my dresswith his blood,” Maggie lied through her teeth.

She had no scruples beating him up with bare hands. However, whacking his head with a metal rodwas a whole different story. She didn’t have the guts to do it in case he ended up dead.

Just then, Lucas, who had bruises all over his face, stumbled over. “Wow, Alex, I never knew you wereso

good in martial arts. Please teach me a few moves when you’re free, Lucas praised him from thebottom

of his heart.

No one would dare to bully me again if I could just learn his moves.

However, Alex ignored Lucas. He had completed his task since Heather only asked him to save Lucas.

He turned to Maggie and said, “Let’s go. It’s getting late.”

“Wait. I need to take care of some things first!” With that, Maggie glared at Lucas and kicked him in thegroin.

Lucas never saw that coming, and he almost passed out from the pain.

He writhed in agony on the ground, just like the man who tried to approach Maggie before this.Meanwhile, Alex kept quiet about it as he felt that Lucas was getting what he deserved. In fact, hecould have saved Lucas when Maggie kicked him into the crowd just now but didn’t do so.

Maggie felt a lot better after kicking Lucas. I wonder if I should tell Alex about it.

After giving it some thought, Maggie turned to Alex apologetically. “I think I might have broken his ballsjust now.”novelbin

Alex was rendered speechless.
