Meanwhile, Jacob glared at Alex before rushing after Stuart and heading into the auction hall.

Alex replied mockingly, “Is that so? I can’t wait then.”

Auriel smiled as she watched Stuart and his group of people walk into the auction hall. “Master, itseems you have many enemies.”
Alex smiled slightly and said, “Is that so? Perhaps I’m too handsome, so they are all so jealous thatthey want to fight me.”
Although he was smiling, his gaze turned stern as he looked at Ally.

“You’re going to bid for it?” A disdainful voice sounded nearby.
It was Stuart. “Who do you think you are? You’re nothing but a live-in son-in-law, living off of a woman.How dare you say something so presumptuous. You have no shame!”
