“You should be thanking Dr. Skyworth instead.” The doctor in charge smiled and left with the twonurses in tow.
By the time everyone else left, Lucas was already jumping around outside the bed. He did not look likeat man paralyzed after a traffic accident at all.
Heather and Carmen beamed.
Demi was overjoyed as well. She patted Lucas on the shoulder and said, “I’m glad you’re fine now,Lucas. The twenty-two million I spent was well worth it.”

“Alright then, I’ll be off,” Demi said as she slowly turned around to leave. Jacob hurriedly rushed tosupport her like a filial grandchild.
