Alex nodded. “Sure. And I’ll keep you in mind whenever I make my pills.”
“Thank you very much, Dr. Jefferson,” said Tyrael quickly.
Alex looked at the car key, then the key to the hilltop villa. “Please don’t gift me with such fancy thingsin the future,” he said with a smile. “But I’d appreciate it if you’d spend that money on getting me thebest herbs.”
Maggie and Stefan nodded hastily, while Stefan said, “Don’t worry, Mr. Jefferson. My father–in–law isengaged in the herbs business. I’ll ask him to watch out and save the best herbs for me and I’ll makesure to offer him a good price for it.”
“Mr. Jefferson, I’ll be sure to place the highest bid the next time someone auctions a high–quality herb,”Maggie added.
Alex nodded. They are not short of money, anyway. It doesn’t matter if I get their help in finding me thebest herbs. I’ll just repay them by giving them more good medicine when the time comes.
“All right. Let’s eat,” Alex announced before turning to the waiter. “Replace the dishes with warm ones.”
