“Who are you?” Heather’s expression changed as she was intimidated by the way Shane looked at her.
“You must be my sister–in–law, Heather? I’m Shane. Alex asked me to come and take care of you andyour son,” Shane said with a smile. He could not keep his eyes away from her hourglass body.
Heather shuddered as it seemed he was implying something. She asked, “Where’s Alex?”
Last night, Alex only told her he would be traveling out of town. They had not been talking to each otherfor quite some time, so she did not ask where he was going, and he did not bother to tell her.
“He’ll not come back anymore. This is why he asked me to come and take care of his family. Let metake care of you, okay?” Shane smiled and was about the grab her hand.

steps back.
