Autumn nodded and brought the items into the house.
It was only 6.30 p.m. and it would be a while before the sky got dark.
However, Alex could see that the whole villa seemed to have a large evil cloud hanging over it whichgave off an opaque yet suffocating feeling.

“I-I buried it,” Desmond replied meekly.
“Mr. Jefferson, do we still need it?” Stefan asked carefully.

Alex nodded and replied, “The demon is no longer confined to the piece of ancient jade, hence buryingit is useless. However, its roots are contained in the jade. In order to perform an exorcism, we must usethe jade still. Where did you bury it? We have to dig it out.”
“Where is it buried?” Samuel Jones asked..
Samuel was Desmond father and also Stefan’s brother.
“Behind the hill,” Desmond replied.
“Go dig it out then,” Samuel ordered.
Earlier, he found out from Stefan that all the recent family calamities were caused by his son. He wasso infuriated that he slapped Desmond a few times.
“Alright, I’ll go at once,” Desmond quickly replied as he was afraid of his dad’s bad temper.
“Bring a few men with you,” Samuel reminded him.
“Mmm,” Desmond grunted in acknowledgement. After that, he proceeded to the hill behind the villa witha few bodyguards.
The reason he buried it at the hill was that he was worried Alex was lying to him. The hill behind theirhouse was a safe place as no one would go there.
