“A swimming competition, of course. A guy and a girl will make a team,” Kurt said as he pointed at thesmall island at the center of the lake, “Any group that makes it to the island first will be the winner.”

The rich kids were all hyped up about the idea.
A young man stepped forward, “Since it’s a competition, there should be a reward for winning right?”
Kurt nodded his head, “Of course. But, we have to make the rules clear. Only the champion gets themoney. The rest will fork-out a hundred million each to fund the prize for the winner.”
What? A hundred million?
Even though this was a gathering for the upper class, many would not be able to fork out a hundredmillion for a competition. It was impossible if one were to go bankrupt for just a menial bet like this.

Kurt smiled. I will make sure that b*stard Alex joins the competition. If he refuses to join, I will humiliatehim in front of everyone.

“Alex looked at the two and said, “So you’re going to join the bet too?”

Alex mocked him, “So are you trying to stand out too?”

Alex looked at the others and smiled, “Since the Taylor family is so rich, why not the two of us bet onebillion each?”

The others were stunned. They thought Alex was going insane.
