Chapter 124 Nine Heaven Scrolls
When Alex left Desecrated Court, he went to the market to prepare for the night after tomorrow. He wasdetermined to solve this matter for the Saflin family.
He had also purposely delayed for two days so that he could study the Nine Heaven Scrolls better.

“That car is so classy. How great would it be if our family has it?” Carmen sighed and glanced at Alexwith a look of disappointment.

“Heather, didn’t you say that you were going to meet with the chairman? Did you meet him yet?”Carmen suddenly asked.
“No,” Heather said as she stole a glance at Alex. Her mind was in a mess for some reason.
She was furious at first when she heard that Alex had laid his hands on Dylan’s girlfriend. But then, thefigure of the Four Seas Corporation’s chairman came to mind, and she felt an indescribable sense ofanticipation.
To be honest, her emotions were all in a jumble.
Sometimes she wanted to get divorced from Alex. But there were times where she felt that he was agreat
man.
She had been meaning to talk to Alex about it, but the words would get stuck in her throat every time,and she would give up in the end.
“The chairman has been great to you. Why are you still hesitating? Did you forget that the chairman.promised that he would give you ten percent of the company’s share? Our family will be relying on thatten percent!” Carmen exclaimed in disappointment.
“I know. I’ll find time to meet with him.”
Heather nodded and added, “Let’s just cat. I don’t want to talk about this now.”
She had indeed been meaning to set up a meeting with the chairman.
But she couldn’t make up her mind as her emotions were all tangled up recently. She was especiallyconfused when it came to her relationship with Alex.

As usual, he took a shower and put his son to bed.
