“Veronica, if there’s nothing else, I’ll leave with Alex first. I’ll come to see you again later. Goodbye,”Jessica said to Veronica.
Since the matter had already been resolved, there was nothing left to do there. Hence, Jessica plannedto take Alex to her beautifully renovated villa and cook him a delicious meal.
However, Veronica unhesitatingly opened Jessica’s car door and sat right in. With a smile, Veronicaasked, “Jessica, when we were at the Blue Mountain Café, the waiter mentioned that you bought ahouse here. and it’s the most luxurious villa in the area. May I go in and take a look?”
Sitting in the driver’s seat, Jessica hesitated. Deep down, she really didn’t want Veronica to come alongbecause she was hoping to use this opportunity to get closer to Alex.
Just as she was about to turn Veronica down, Veronica said, “Jessica, no matter what, we’ve grown uptogether since we were little, right? I just want to visit your house, that’s all. You wouldn’t deny me this.small request, would you?”

“Please have a seat. I’ll go to the kitchen to prepare some food.” Jessica didn’t even glance atVeronica, but she smiled at Alex before heading to the kitchen.
Seeing that Jessica had gone to the kitchen, Veronica smiled. She then stood up from the couch andwalked over to sit beside Alex.
“Before, I didn’t know who you were, and I may have offended you. Please don’t hold it against me! Ifyou’re angry, you can punish me however you like.” Veronica looked at Alex with her big eyes and puton a teasing expression on her face.
Alex just smiled and didn’t deliberately move from his position. Upon closer inspection, Veronica’sfigure was indeed quite attractive. Her straight, slender legs were clad in sexy, enchanting blackstockings, her willowy waist was slim and delicate, and her cleavage was somewhat incredible.

Veronica couldn’t figure out what Alex meant by those words. Was he rejecting me or allowing me tostay close to him?
For a moment, she couldn’t make up her mind. Fearing that Alex would be angry, Veronica reluctantly.returned to her original seat.
“Mr. Jefferson, how long have you been with Jessica? She must have never told you about herchildhood, right? Let me tell you,” Veronica whispered and glanced in the direction of the kitchen.
