“Her? She’s just a secretary. How can she possibly afford a twenty-five million house?” Veronica askedthe sales assistant with a shocked expression on her face. Her emotions were getting the better of her.
“We wouldn’t make a mistake. Ms. Jessica Saffin has been busy with the renovation these past fewdays. I assume her house must be all set by now?” the sales assistant asked.
“Yep! The renovation is all done,” said Jessica with a smile.

Veronica never expected Jessica would actually admit it. After all, the latter was just a mere secretaryat the Four Seas Corporation. How can she possibly have that much money to buy such an expensivevilla? In the past, I thought a villa costing five million was already an astronomical figure. I didn’t expectJessica to buy the most expensive one worth twenty-five million. This is simply too extravagant.

“I actually wish he feels something for me!” Jessica said with a hint of resentment.
