Chapter 1165

Chapter 1165 Divine Pills and Miraculous Medicines

Just by hearing the name “snapdragon,” ordinary people became sure that it was a miraculousmedicine. One after another, they clamored to buy the medicine.

“Master Lincoln, Master Lincoln, I want three of them!”

“Master Lincoln, I’d like to have five. They’re for my parents and children at home. Could you possiblygive me a discount?”

Upon hearing someone trying to bargain, before Lincoln could say anything, the people around theyoung man who wanted to bargain started to criticize him.

“Are you going to buy it or not? How dare you haggle with Master Lincoln! He has already done somuch. for us, and the pill he sells to us are at their production prices. Do you truly wish for MasterLincoln to incur financial losses?”

“Exactly! Besides, spending five thousand for peace of mind is already a great deal. If you think it’s tooexpensive, then don’t buy it. As for me, Master Lincoln, I’ll buy six pills.”

The young man who wanted to bargain was squeezed out of the crowd. Five pills cost twenty-fivethousand, and twenty-five thousand was basically half a year’s savings for him. It was no small sum of

money.

Many people present had practically taken out all their savings just to buy a few pills for their families toconsume to ensure their safety. They were afraid that the patron saint would inflict diseases upon them.and take away their lives.

While everyone was lining up to buy the pills, a young man suddenly came running over. In his hand,he held a rotten cabbage leaf that he threw directly at Lincoln.

He yelled angrily, “You fraud of a priest! All you do is swindle money! Those pills you sold werecompletely useless! I bought three pills from you for my father last week, but they were completelyuseless. He still caught the flu, and now he’s lying in bed, barely hanging on to life. This is all your fault;you’re nothing but a scammer!”

The sudden turn of events left everyone astonished as all eyes turned toward the young man who hadunexpectedly appeared.

This person claimed that the pills sold by Lincoln were useless and even harmful, and he even threwrotten vegetables at Lincoln.

Originally, everyone there regarded Lincoln as a god-like figure. However, seeing the young man cryingin such a heartbroken manner made them doubt that he was faking it. For a moment, they couldn’t helpbut feel suspicious about Lincoln.

While they might not find the price of five thousand for a single pill exorbitant, there was a crucialcondition that needed to be met: the pill had to prove its effectiveness. If the young man’s claim wasindeed true that the pill held no efficacy-relying blindly on it and contracting the flu would lead todisastrous consequences.

He observed how others refrained from spending money on his medicines as a result of the man’swords, and that led to a noticeable impact on his business.

On top of that, the man had just thrown rotten vegetable leaves at him, causing his robe to reek. Thisinfuriated him to no end.

Lincoln scoffed at the young man and angrily scolded, “Who sent you here, kid? How dare you slanderme like this? My medicines are all miraculous remedies. How could they possibly be useless? I’mconcerned. that your preoccupation lies in money, and you’ve approached me with the intention tocause trouble after receiving funds from others! Are you genuinely wishing for the flu to spread amongeveryone in this village?”

The young man never expected Lincoln to deny his transgressions. At that moment, he was so furiousthat his face turned beet red.

As people around him gradually began to point at him and accuse him of taking money to slanderLincoln, the young man’s breathing grew increasingly rapid.

“It’s not like that, this person is just a fake priest. He’s not some powerful priest at all; he’s just ascammer trying to take your money. My dad has the flu and is close to dying, and the medicine he sellsis completely useless,” the young man desperately tried to explain, his voice hoarse from shouting.

Seeing the young man speak so earnestly, everyone hesitated for a moment.

Right then. Lincoln’s face darkened. With a wave of his cane, black flames ignited on the young man’sbody, engulfing him in the fire.novelbin

The sudden turn of events shocked everyone present. Those close to the young man quickly backedaway. fearing they might get caught in the crossfire.
