Chapter 1157 Emmalyn Falls Ill
The elation at the tech dome left Alex in a good mood. Upon leaving the office, he found Arthur stillwaiting by the door.
“Mr. Jefferson, do you have any further instructions?” Arthur asked with a respectful bow.
“Come with me to check out the chip we have successfully developed!” Alex said casually.
Arthur nodded in agreement. When he raised his head and saw Alex’s face, he couldn’t help but bemore certain about his earlier assumption..
Mr. Jefferson has a bright red lipstick mark on his cheek. It’s obvious that Liana has kissed him, as theshade of lipstick is unmistakably hers. Indeed, there’s no tay Mr. Jefferson can resist a sensual beautylike her.
“Um. Mr. Jefferson, there’s something on your face,” Arthur commented in a probing tone.
Upon hearing that, Alex suddenly remembered that Liana had stolen a kiss from him carlier. From theway Arthur was trying to hide his cheeky smile, Alex could guess that there was a red lipstick mark onhis own face.

What’s the point of telling me Emma is sick?What are you spacing for? Hurry up and take her to the hospital! If anything serious happens to her, Iwill never forgive you.”
The nanny had no choice but to swallow all her grievances. Holding Emmalyn in her arms, sheinstructed. the driver to take them to the hospital. After they left, Kate finally put down the book in herhand and took out her phone to call the doctor.
“Where are you, Alex? Emma is sick. I can’t take care of her alone. Can you come to the hospital?”Kate said, pretending to sob.
