Chapter 1054

Chapter 1054 Transformed Into A Devil

With the talisman made by the Elysian Master of Mountain of the Beasts in his possession, Gregoryremained unaffected even though Erika had transformed into a demon.

Not only was she unable to settle her deep-seated grudge, but she also had to witness her nemesisenjoying a life of freedom and happiness day after day. With these thoughts in mind, Erika felt a deepsense of injustice. She couldn’t fathom why fate was so unfair.

Despite never having done anything remarkable in her lifetime, Erika had always been a decentperson. Her parents were also honest individuals all their lives. She couldn’t understand why theyended up in such a predicament.

After a long wait, she finally got what she had been hoping for when Gregory dropped his amulet. Erikathought it was her chance for vengeance. However, now this opportunity had also slipped through herfingers.

After this incident, there’s no way I will ever have an opportunity to harm Gregory again. Does thismean I really have no chance for revenge? Erika was unwilling to accept defeat, so she thought ofseeking help from Alex.

Despite the seemingly average appearance of the young man before her, Erika was well aware that hewas far from ordinary. Even though she had turned into a demon, she couldn’t help but feel completeinsignificance in the presence of Alex, as if she were nothing more than a tiny ant

Seeing Alex remain silent, Erika repeatedly begged on the ground. If it weren’t for the fact that demonscouldn’t shed tears, her face would be streaming with them. “Master, I can’t accept this! How can aperson who has done so much evil continues to live a peaceful and happy life? I refuse to accept it. Irefuse to accept it!”

Erika cried out in agony. Slowly, her aura underwent a subtle change. The original blue aura on herbody unexpectedly transformed into black.

Not only did her aura undergo a change, but even the bottom of the blue dress she was wearing alsostarted to turn black. Furthermore, the spreading of this phenomenon showed no signs of stopping.

Witnessing this, Alex suddenly widened his eyes, and he was deeply shocked. He had read about thisoccurrence in Empyrean Scripture.

As mentioned earlier, ghosts were divided into various types, with wandering souls being the mostcommon. Vengeful ghosts were relatively uncommon, and demons were exceptionally rare. As fordevils, they were practically unheard of.

If a city became infested with these devils, the entire city would be at risk of being devastated, andeven neighboring cities might not escape unscathed.

The existence of devils was not merely driven by a desire for vengeance. Their presence would bringendless slaughter devoid of any hint of human empathy or mercy.

Alex dared not underestimate the situation. He had no absolute certainty in being able to subdue adevil. After all, these entities were spiritual beings, and they were capable of appearing anywherethrough their sheer will.

In fact, Alex had the ability to defeat it, but he was only human. He couldn’t appear anywhere with amere thought like a devil could. In order to prevent such a scenario, Alex had to stop Erika fromtransforming into a devil.

Alex raised his hand and gently patted Erika’s head. “Calm down first. You need to suppress the hatredin your heart, or it will trap you in an eternal cycle of despair. You’re a good girl, and you shouldn’t

sacrifice your chance for a better life for the sake of a jerk. It’s not worth it. I’ll help you, but first, pleasecalm down, okay?”novelbin

As Erika felt the gentle touch of Alex’s hand on her head, her intense anger started to subside. Thesurrounding dark aura also gradually faded away.

Erika lifted her head and looked at Alex in disbelief. She then asked. “Are you really going to help me?”

Alex nodded heavily. His eyes fixed on Erika as her aura gradually returned to normal, and he let out along sigh of relief. Finally, he was able to suppress Erika’s transformation into a devil.
