Chapter 1052

Chapter 1052 Truth

Gregory had a completely different personality from his grandfather, father, and brother. Not only washe stubborn and lascivious, but he also had psychological issues, resorting to any means necessary toachieve his goals and harboring a strong desire to wreak vengeance.

If he encountered women he took a liking to on the streets, he would order his subordinates to takethem away forcibly. Then, he would bring them to his secret base and subject those women to tortureand humiliation before finally throwing them out in a battered and bruised state.

Some of the girls would hang themselves in despair as they were unable to accept the devastatingreality, while others were tormented to death by Gregory. The fate of those like Erika who dared to defyGregory was even more tragic.

Upon learning Erika was engaged, Gregory kidnapped her fiancé and threatened her with his life toforce her into submission.

In order to save her beloved, Erika had to comply with all of Gregory’s demands. Gregory evenravaged her right in front of her fiancé.

Erika had no escape and could only silently endure Gregory’s atrocities. If she dared to resist, not onlywould her fiancé die, but even her parents would face grave danger.

Since then, each day for her was like living through a bleak, torturous nightmare. If she had a choice, she would’ve chosen to take her own life, but Erika had to live on to safeguard her parents and lover.

She hoped that Gregory would soon get tired of her, so she could leave that hellish place.

However, what awaited her, in the end, was the accidental murder of her fiancé at Gregory’s handswhen her fiancé couldn’t bear the humiliation any longer and confronted Gregory.

After being informed of that matter, Erika was driven to the verge of an emotional breakdown. She hadknown her fiancé since high school. They attended university together, worked together, and theirrelationship had always been great. Both families had also met, and their wedding date was set. Thehappy couple were supposed to be married in two months.

But her fiancé was dead now, while she had been defiled. Erika had lost all will to live and wanted totake the sc*m, Gregory, down with her.

Unfortunately, she was just a weak woman. When she was about to harm Gregory, his bodyguardsdiscovered her.

To punish Erika, Gregory subjected her to every form of brutality, finally handing her over to hisbodyguards. Amidst the repeated shagging, she was tormented to death.

Erika was her parents’ only child. They were devastated upon learning of her horrific death. The agedcouple used their retirement savings to hire a lawyer to sue Gregory, but they could do nothing againsthim without evidence.

Feeling aggrieved that their daughter was cruelly murdered at such a young age, Erika’s parentsexhausted their savings and even sold their only house, hoping to bring Gregory to justice.

However, Gregory sabotaged their effort, ultimately leaving them homeless in their old age since theyhad spent all their money.

Still, that didn’t quell Gregory’s fury. He decided to see that matter through by hiring someone to stagea

car accident, killing Erika’s parents.

Erika, who had died while enduring agony, became a vengeful ghost. Her only lingering attachment inthe world was her parents.

She watched as her parents grieved her death day and night. Her mother’s eyes were red and swollenfrom crying, while her father seemed to turn a decade older from great sorrow.

Erika witnessed her father use up all his life savings to hire lawyers to seek justice for her, but all thoselawyers declined the case upon hearing they were going against Gregory, the scion of the Greavesfamily. Despite the hardships, her parents didn’t give up on fighting for justice for Erika, visiting one lawfirm after another until her already frail mother fell ill from exhaustion.novelbin

Even so, Erika’s father persisted. Her parents’ retirement savings ran out amid constant unsuccessfullegal battles, forcing them to sell their house.

There was no way Erika could convince herself not to resent Gregory after seeing her parents beingforced to roam the streets, struggling to survive, and finally getting killed by Gregory.

If it hadn’t been for Gregory, she would have lived a blissful life, married the man she loved and spenther days happily.

Erika’s profound hatred for Gregory caused her to gradually turned into a demon and end up in her

current state.
