Chapter 1048

Chapter 1048 Gregory In Trouble

Hearing that, Garett stumbled and almost collapsed, but Tobias swiftly caught him before he hit theground.

“Dad, are you okay?” Tobias asked worriedly, even though he had no idea what was going on.

Glancing at the stretcher, Garett gestured at it and said worriedly, “Hurry, take a look at Greg.”“

Hearing that, Tobias rushed to the stretcher. The sight of the person lying on it sent a shiver down hisspine.

The man’s skin was black, as though he had just been pulled out from a pile of charcoal. If Tobiashadn’t known it was his son, Gregory, he might not have recognized him.

It was not just the blackened skin that horrified him; it was the prominent veins that bulged beneath, threatening to rupture at any moment.

“W-What has happened? Why is Gregory in this state?” Tobias questioned Gregory’s bodyguard.

The bodyguard fell to his knees in fear and hastily provided an explanation. “We don’t know whathappened, Mr. Tobias! Yesterday, I accompanied Mr. Gregory to Paradiso, where he got two ladies toaccompany him. We were there the whole time and didn’t encounter anyone suspicious. Mr. Gregorydidn’t eat anything unusual there. Just a while ago, while he was singing, his body suddenly startedconvulsing as if he was being electrocuted. He collapsed and began foaming at the mouth, and his skinturned black. It was a shocking sight, and I immediately called for help to bring him back. Mr. Tobias, please find a way to save Mr. Gregory. He appears to be in great discomfort.”

Gregory lay unconscious on the stretcher, his eyes turning black as the convulsions continued to wrackhis body. His contorted expression revealed the intense discomfort he was experiencing.

Garett slowly approached Gregory, unable to conceal his shock and deep concern at the sight ofGregory’s terrible condition.

“What’s going on? Hurry, get the doctor!” he ordered a servant anxiously.

Tobias felt a deep pang of pain seeing his son in such a state, but he was at a loss as it was his firstencounter with such a strange condition.

As time passed, Gregory’s complexion deteriorated further. The whites of his eyes transformed into apitch-black hue, adding to the eerie sight. However, the most distressing aspect was his own actions.Gregory began strangling himself, his features twisted in a desperate struggle for breath as if he wereon the brink of suffocation.

Upon witnessing Gregory’s alarming actions, the servants of the Greaves family swiftly took action andbound his hands in an attempt to prevent him from causing harm to himself. However, to their dismay, even with his hands restrained, Gregory’s convulsions persisted, accompanied by unsettling soundsemanating from his throat.

Soon, renowned doctors from Lumenopolis were summoned in succession to examine Gregory’scondition. However, one by one, they left his side with solemn expressions, shaking their heads inresignation. They couldn’t figure out any solution to Gregory’s distressing condition.novelbin

A renowned and respected hospital director from Lumenopolis, who happened to be a close friend ofGarett, arrived shortly after to assess Gregory’s condition. However, to the dismay of everyone present, the hospital director found himself at a loss as well.

“My friend, it doesn’t appear that your grandson is suffering from an illness. I believe he may behaunted by a ghost or something paranormal that cannot be explained by modern medicine. There is a

chance for his recovery if you seek the assistance of someone experienced in dealing with suchmatters,” the hospital director advised Garett before taking his leave.

Garett, who had always been skeptical about the paranormal stuff, reluctantly considered his friend’sadvice. He was wary of potential scams, but he was more concerned about finding the right treatmentfor Gregory than the cost.

As he racked his brains, feeling at a loss, a certain person came to his mind, but he quickly dismissedthe idea, feeling uncertain about their reliability.

Alas, he was out of options and had to give it a try. Without hesitation, he got his phone to give thatperson a call.
