Chapter 010 Hugging Victoria Tan?

“Uh,” When they heard Victoria said it, the lobby manager and the waiter there were dumbfounded.

Since she didn’t get any response, Victoria tugged Oliver’s arm, swayed it, as if she’s acting cutelytowards an old acquaintance, “Let’s get married, okay?”

The situation had become more confusing, she looked like a girlfriend that forced marriage on him.More people were looking over to watch this peculiar scene.

The lobby manager hesitated and asked Oliver, “Excuse me, sir. Do you know this lady?”

If they are strangers, how could this woman make such a request? By randomly grabbing a man andasked for marriage in a hotel restaurant, regardless of his appearance and his nature, whether he’sgood or bad.

Oliver remained silent but looked down at her. There was a band-aid on his face. It was themasterpiece from the escape yesterday. He had not taken care of his hair yet and covered half of hiseyes. Nobody could see his expression clearly.

“Marry me, handsome guy. I’ll give everything to you as long as you want to marry me.” Victoria saidthe same request for the third time. The smile on her face also turned a bit stupid. It was completelydifferent from when she encountered the gangster in the bad inn.

There weren’t any cold and arrogant traits, leaving only a fragile and helpless little girl.

The onlooker crowd came to realize that they were strangers. Perhaps it was the first time they met.This woman probably turned stupid because of drinking too much wine and she didn’t know what she’sdoing by casually grabbing a man and asked for marriage. What’s the reason?

She loosened her fingers and was about to let Oliver go before she intended to grab the red wine glasson the table again.

As he held her hand, Oliver sensed something unusual with her palm. When he opened it, her palmwas full of scabs. It was rough as he rubbed through his fingertips. He pulled her up from her seat.Victoria was unstable and fell on his chest.

As he held her, Victoria raised her head to look at him only to see his face with a band-aid on it. Shethen smiled again and asked foolishly, “You’re going to marry me, right?”

After all of this, only one thing remained in her mind.

Going beyond everyone’s expectation, this time, Oliver nodded. His pair of eyes that was half-hiddenunder his bangs, looked straight at her without avoiding.

After getting the consent, Victoria jumped out of joy, and asked insatiably, “Are we going to register themarriage tomorrow?”

Oliver nodded again.

Victoria was satisfied. As if her worry had been brought to an end, she murmured, “Hmm, I’m going toget married too.”

After speaking, she fell onto the man’s arm and closed her eyes, under everyone’s watch.

She stopped creating a disturbance and stopped being troublesome. On the contrary, the wholerestaurant strangely quieted down. Everyone shifted their attention from the drunk Victoria to Oliver,who only nodded.

Is he a gentleman that happened to walk by and helped her or is he a bastard who takes advantage ofa girl when she’s in danger?

It was clear that the girl looked good and was still young. After causing such trouble, everyone couldguess that she’s emotionally hurt. Was the man who promised to marry her, trustworthy?

Inside the medical department, after the doctor checked on Victoria, he said to Oliver, “Are you herfamily? Her body is weak. She caught a cold that caused a fever. Moreover, she also drank a lot ofwine, which caused an alcohol allergy.”

She was just fine before and suddenly she had rashes all over her face due to the alcohol, whichcouldn’t disappear.

Seeing Oliver frowned, his expression turned ugly, the doctor quickly said, “We will treat the patient assoon as possible. Don’t worry, sir.”

After giving Victoria an anti-allergic drug, the rash on her face and neck didn’t continue spreading. Afterhanging the IV, the doctor instructed, “After finishing the IV, we’ll check again on her condition. Wehave a professional medical team to serve you. You don’t need to keep watching her, sir.”

Oliver was being indifferent and sat down next to the patient's bed, without any intention to leave.

Victoria slept in a daze. Her face was blushing. Her fever caused her to have chapped lips. As sheturned her head, she saw someone sitting next to the bed. She unconsciously reached out for his hand,and muttered, “I feel ill, Frank.”
