Once everyone walked away, I walked over to the mirror and tried to touch my hand against his.
“I heard you cried a lot,” Maddox muttered, wanting her to look into his eyes when he was busy holdingback tears.
“If I had known you would feel so much for me after my death, I would have died a thousand times untilyou fell in love with me,” she whispered, and I began to cry hysterically.
“I miss you so much. Why did you have to leave? I couldn’t take it anymore. He was my partner andsomeone who wanted to redeem himself and be a better version of himself.
He deserved a second chance. Why did it have to be him?
