“I have made a decision. I will leave this place the instant Gwen gives birth to our baby,” Helel utteredfrom behind me, startling me. I didn’t even realize he had come into the kitchen, but it was hisstatement that stunned me the most.
“I cannot see you with him, Bea,” he confessed once I had turned around and faced him.
