"Okay. Don't tire yourself out or stay seated for too long. Remember to take short walks from time to time."

Although Serenity was still in the early stage of pregnancy, sitting too long was not good for her.

"I know. I cherish this baby more than you do."

After the husband and wife exchanged a few more words, Serenity ended the call.

Meanwhile, in Satbury, Austin was working in the kitchen alone.

Dominic had already bought the ingredients he needed, all crisp and fresh.

Since Dominic had no idea of Austin's menu, he did not offer any help and left Austin alone.

He was not going to cook up a feast anyway. It would be a few simple dishes for Isabella.

Isabella's status in her family was equivalent to Zachary's in the Yorks. The dinner would be attended by many people who also wished to see if he could pass the test.

Although there were only several items on the menu, each was in a huge portion. Even if the entire O'Connor family were present, there would be enough food to feed them all. Isabella paid little attention to the dinner.

She simply instructed her secretary to postpone or cancel her initial dinner plan. She would return to the manor for dinner, which also served as an interview for the new chef.

"What time are we going back for dinner, Isa?"

Isabella did not even raise her head. She said, "Look at the time. Are you so free that all you can think of is going back to eat? If you have so much time, I'll pass this project to you to follow up on."

"No, no. I'm not free. I don't have time at all."

Tati immediately waved her hands in objection. She was afraid of being handed more projects to handle.

She was already busy enough and could not take on more work. If she did, she would not even have time to slack off or drink coffee.

"We're supposed to have dinner at home tonight. Austin is having his second interview. I'm just curious if he can pass the test and if his main course tastes as good as his desserts."

Isabella said indifferently, "His desserts are edible, not exceptional."
