Chapter 3185

Serenity smiled. "Not everyone can be as decisive as you, Ms. Stone. Relationships are difficult to handle."

Even she was not as confident and cool as Elisa was.

Back when she found out Zachary had been lying to her, she asked to get a divorce out of anger. However, she was agonized about the decision as well. Although Elisa had been hurt before, she was able to cut off her feelings cleanly. That was admirable. Many women would be unable to do the same.

Elisa smiled. "You're right. I never hesitate. I give up once I know there is no hope for me. It isn't as if I can't marry someone else. No need for me to fight someone over a man. There's surely a man out there for me from all the nice guys in the world.

"You should call Zachary and get him to contact Dylan as soon as possible. I want to know all the tea."

Elisa had been influenced by Serenity and Jasmine and became a gossip queen herself.

Jasmine was the luckiest because she could get first-hand information. She would always share the latest gossip with her friends afterward.

Serenity agreed. At that moment, Zachary answered her call.

"Seren."

Zachary's voice was gentle and husky. When Elisa stepped closer and heard his voice, she whispered, "He always had a dark expression whenever he saw me in the past. He looked as if he didn't recognize me and wanted to ignore me.novelbin

"That was why I always thought he was a cold person. It was only after that I discovered he did have a soft side to him. However, his gentleness is only reserved for you."

Serenity whispered back, "I think the same applies to Remy and you."

Although Remy seemed to be nice to everyone, that was just him being polite. He would only show his true gentle side to Elisa.

Elisa chuckled. She was happy.

"Do you have time to talk, babe?" Serenity asked.

Zachary laughed. "You don't have to ask. You can talk to me anytime."

She only called him babe whenever she needed something from him.

Usually, she would just address him by his name.

"It's not about me. It's Dylan. Can you call him and ask where he is now? Get him to go to Wiltspoon Hotel tonight as well. Let's treat him to a meal."

Zachary's eyes gleamed. "Did Dylan do something to piss you off? How dare he make you angry? I'll tell Aunt Rosella to teach him a lesson. Are we eating at the hotel tonight instead of going home for dinner?"

et

"Dylan didn't upset me, but he did anger someone else. That person came to me. Anyway, call him and tell him to come over for dinner. I'll fill you in on the details later."

Zachary's mood returned to normal after learning Dylan had not offended his wife. He said, "Okay. I'll call him and get back to you later."

Serenity hummed in acknowledgment.

After hanging up, Zachary called Dylan.

Dylan had been feeling uneasy all

evening. He kept feeling like

something was about to happen and could not concentrate on the documents that required his signature as he sat in the office.

Suddenly, his phone rang.

Dylan was startled. Was something bad about to happen?

He quickly looked at the caller ID. He tensed further when he saw Zachary's name.

The York brothers would only contact Zachary if something happened, and Zachary rarely initiated calling them either.

Dylan took a few deep breaths before answering the call.

"Zachary."

He spoke with a smile on his face. He thought Zachary would not scold him as badly if he sounded more cheerful.
