Chapter 3169

After a moment of silence, Duncan admitted, “Yeah. Everyone hasdreams, but you've never told me about having a dream like thisbefore. Did you dream about that last night because you were worryingabout our relationship before falling asleep?

“Or did someone say something to you to make you anxious?”

Liberty dismissed with a laugh, “No way. Who would say anything tome? I'm not in Wiltspoon, anyway. Even if you do have admirers, they'dhave to wait for me to get back to get to me.novelbin

"I just inexplicably had a dream and told you. What I want to know is ifyou've unconsciously stolen someone’s heart.”

Zachary had not told Duncan that Serenity suspected Rhea Torres wasinterested in him. Liberty was even less likely to tell him.

How could she say that without proof and cause trouble for her sister? However, she trusted Serenity’s intuition. Rhea might really beinterested in Duncan and he had no clue.

Serenity told her that Rhea'’s husband, Victor Torres, passed away along time ago, leaving a son behind who was now around nine yearsold. Victor was the only son and when he passed, his parents were notin good health and his son was very young.

To avoid their relatives trying to cut themselves a piece of the pie, Rheahad to take over all the businesses Victor left behind, though she took afew years to stabilize the situation. Now, she was considered an ironlady.

It was normal for a single mother who also had to take care of her in-laws while managing a business to want a companion to lean on torelieve her stress and tiredness.

However, the Torreses were considered a rich family with plentifulassets. If she found someone new, she would worry that they were agold digger.

She had to find someone capable with good character, and preferablyof a similar background. That way, he would not be a gold digger. However, out of Wiltspoon's handsome and outstanding men, only afew fit Rhea's conditions. Duncan was among the few. He wasunmarried, but older than Rhea, was of good character, capable, from apowerful family, and had a net worth in the billions.

If he were to be with Rhea, it would not be for her money.

Despite that, Duncan was still in a wheelchair and all of Wiltspoon knewthat he loved Liberty deeply.

Rhea had not made her interest known and had not dared reveal toomuch of it either.

Duncan hurriedly denied, “I didn't! I hardly ever interact with unmarriedladies. All the women I have to deal with for business are married.”Recently, Rhea was the only woman in talks with him for a project, butRhea was married and her son was in elementary school. Although herhusband was deceased, Rhea often spent time at her in-laws’ and hadtaken up the heavy burden her husband had left behind to supportthem.

Duncan was actually quite appreciative of her ruthlessness.

It was necessary for a widow to stand firmly in the cruel world ofbusiness.

“Liberty, I only have eyes for you. We've been through so much and myfeelings for you are as clear as day. I love you and only you forever.”Liberty giggled. “I trust you, Duncan. And I'm not worried about rivalseither. If I have rivals, that's evidence I have the good taste to picksomeone outstanding like you. Outstanding people always have a lot ofadmirers regardless of gender.

“And I trust that no one can take someone who truly loves you away.”Liberty really had not been worried about rivals.

Even if Rhea openly confessed to Duncan and publicly announced it,she would not be afraid.

Rhea was much stronger than Liberty was, but Liberty had Duncan'slove as she slowly climbed the ladder.

“Don’t take the dream to heart. It's just a dream, and besides, it's mydream. If anyone should worry, it should be me.”

Duncan was silent for a moment before he suddenly said, “Liberty, let'sget married before the year ends.”
