Chapter 3160

“I'll send you abroad after you graduate from middle school. It's toocompetitive here.”

Rhea could not bear being apart from Dean before he became a highschooler.

Even if she did not have time to spend with him at the moment, theycould still see each other every morning and night.

Besides, her in-laws wanted their grandson around as well. If it werenot for Dean, they would not have lived through the news of their son'sdeath.

Dean was their mental support.

“Grandpa checked my homework after I was done. I got one wrong. That question was worth two marks in tests. I got everything elsecorrect. I'm improving, Mom. I'll study hard and not let you down.”Dean knew that his grandparents and mother had high expectations forhim.

Although Dean was not too bright, he was willing to learn and workharder than others. Therefore, his grades gradually improved.

“That's a great improvement. You deserve a compliment. Have yourgrandparents slept?” Rhea asked.

“Not yet. They were waiting for you to be back.”

Rhea had spent seven years stabilizing the Torres family’s company. She had become her in-laws’ pillar of support.

They even persuaded her to find another man as she was still young. However, they requested that her future partner marry into the Torresfamily, viewing her as their daughter.

By having a live-in son-in-law, they would no longer have to be targetedby their relatives or friends.

Of course, the Torres couple also requested that Rhea sign a prenuptialagreement. Her future husband would not have rights to the Torresfamily's assets.

After the marriage, they could arrange a job for the man and give him amonthly allowance. However, he could never have their company’sshares or assets.

They simply wanted Rhea to have a partner.

Rhea rejected their suggestion.

She was worried that any man who pursued her was only after hermoney and would mistreat Dean.novelbin

Everything the Torres family had was to be passed on to Dean.

She would not let anyone covet what belonged to Dean.

Besides, after working in the business for seven years, she had seenvarious types of men. She was hardly attracted to any of them.

Those capable or not greedy for the Torres family’s money were eithernot interested or younger than her.

Only a few men satisfied Rhea’s conditions. They were young men ofwealthy families in Wiltspoon.

However, they were well-off and could choose any young and beautifulgirl they wanted. On the other hand, Rhea was a widow with a son andstuck with her in-laws. Those young gentlemen may respect hercapabilities, but they would never fall in love with or marry her.

There were not many eligible bachelors in Wiltspoon either.

Rhea initially had her eyes on Julian but excluded him after hearing hehad a condition. More importantly, Julian was not interested in her aswell. She had only seen him from afar once during a banquet.

She had no way of meeting Julian outside of banquets. That man washarder to spot than Zachary. His location was always a mystery.

The next candidate would be Duncan.

Although he was wheelchair-bound, he had been going forphysiotherapy sessions. Rhea did some investigating herself and knewhe was doing well and could stand up again soon.

The Lewises were rich. Duncan had also established his own company, raising his net worth to tens of billions of dollars. Therefore, he wouldnever covet her money when the Torres family’s assets did not evenamount to his net worth. That was even excluding the inheritanceDuncan would receive from his family.

Rhea remained silent.

“Grandpa, Grandma, Mom's back,” shouted Dean happily when theyarrived at the door.
