Chapter 3152

Zachary was afraid of his wife—what of it then?

At least he had a wife to be afraid of. There were so many sad single men out there who did noteven have a girlfriend, let alone a chance to be a hen-pecked husband.

Sonny gaped at him, speechless.

It was impossible to expect Zachary to help him.

“Uncle Zak, are you not coming home with us?” Sonny very naturally changed the subject.

Zachary took his little backpack from him and then picked him up as he said, “I have a meeting latertonight, so I’ll get Uncle Bodyguard to send you guys home after I have dinner with you. I can onlycome home later.”

Sonny pursed his lips and did not reply.

The adults were so busy!

“Are you unhappy?”

Zachary pecked him on the cheek and said with a smile, “I’ll take you out to play this weekend, okay?”

“I’m not unhappy. I know Uncle Zak’s busy because you need to earn money to buy milk powder forthe baby. Okay! I want to go to the children’s amusement park this weekend.”

Zachary said fondly, “Okay. I’ll take you wherever you want to go this weekend and spend time withyour aunt too.”

Normally, the husband-and-wife pair were busy with their own work. Mealtimes were non-negotiableas they insisted on spending time together.

Serenity would bring Sonny from preschool to the office to look for Zachary almost every afternoonto spend a bit of time with him.

If they wanted to have a word in private, they would have to wait until late at night.

If he were so busy that he only got home after midnight, Serenity would already be asleep. Theywould not even get to talk to each other, let alone a private time.

Sometimes, Serenity would wait for him to get home but she must be exhausted from work andcaring for Sonny while pregnant. That was why Zachary rarely let her wait up, or he would be homeearlier so she did not have to wait so long.

“You’re the best, Uncle Zak!”

“What about me?” Serenity teased Sonny.

Sonny said sweetly, “Aunt Ser’s the best aunt on earth! I like Mom and Aunt Ser the most.”

“Uncle Zak, will you still love me the same after the baby’s born?” Sonny suddenly asked.

“Aunt Chel says you won’t love me anymore, so she and I should be the closest.”

Serenity’s expression darkened and she felt the urge to curse Chelsea for constantly speakingnonsense to scare Sonny.

A leopard never changed its spots; someone like Chelsea would not change unless she died andreincarnated.

“That might be normal for others, but your Aunt Chel isn’t the nicest to you, so you don’t have tolisten to her nonsense. Even after I have a baby, you’ll still be my beloved nephew.”

Sonny said, “I don’t believe Aunt Chel. I told her that you’d always love me. Uncle Zak too!”

Either way, he did not like the Browns.

As for his father, he did not like him very much, but he did not hate him either.novelbin

This was probably because they were father and son.

Even if Hank liked to speak ill of Duncan in front of Sonny and upset him, the little boy knew Hankwas his biological father; Hank was paying child support too.

Mom said that she and Dad were separated because of adult problems and that it did not affect hisrelationship with Dad. Since Dad was taking care of him, he had to take care of Dad when he gotolder.
