In the meantime, Serenity initiated a video call with Liberty. Liberty only answered after some time,whispering, “Seren, I’ll call you back later if this isn’t urgent. I’m negotiating with a client now.”
“Alrighty. You can go on with your work. It’s nothing urgent. I just picked Sonny up. He wants to tellyou that he got a certificate.”
Liberty laughed. “Sonny did a good job. I’ll call you back later.”

“Bye, Mom. Please earn more money to pay for my school fees.”
Liberty smiled. “Okay. You have to study hard and listen to Aunt Ser, Sonny. Don’t be naughty. If youare, I’ll ask Aunt Ser to slap your butt.”

He put his certificate back into his bag and snuggled into Serenity’s embrace. He said, “I missedyou, Aunt Ser.”
“But you see me every day.”
“I missed you when I was in school. I also missed Mom, Uncle Zak, and Dunc.”
Serenity chuckled. “Did you miss me despite having so much fun at school? I guess you really dolove me.”
“I love Mom the most. You’re in second place. Uncle Zak and Dunc are in third place.”
To Sonny, Duncan had become as important as Zachary.
Serenity hugged him. “I love you the most too.”
“Will you keep loving me even after the baby boy is born?”
“Of course. You’ll always have a special place in my heart.”
A nephew was different from a son.
However, Sonny did not know that yet. Serenity did not have to explain much. Sonny just had toknow that he was important to her.
