Chapter 3057

Josh laughed and said, “Alright, we all know you guys are in love. There’s no need for you to flaunt it.”novelbin

“Pot calling the kettle black. Before | got married, you and Zachary shoved so much PDA in my face,” Callum retorted.“Now, | want to do the same every single day to agitate my unmarried cousins.”

Austin immediately excused himself, as he was the only one single among everyone present.

The other unmarried York gentlemen were not back at the manor.

“Austin, why are you running away so quickly? You should sit here and listen to our experiences. In the future, you can apply it topursuing your wife and won't have to take the long route,” Josh teased.

Austin was already at the door by now and he said without looking back, “I think I’m talented and smart enough without beingtaught, thanks.”

Josh laughed. “I'd believe that about your cooking.”

Then, he turned to say to Zachary, “Austin really does love cooking.”

“If he didn’t, you wouldn't be able to eat such delicious food.”

Josh rubbed his nose. Okay, that was true.

It was harmonious in Wildridge Manor, but meanwhile, over with Carrie, she had just gotten her test results back from the lab.Apregnancy test was easy. All it took was a urine test and the results would be out very quickly too.

While waiting for the results, Carrie repeatedly prayed in her heart that she was not pregnant and hoped she was just having astomach bug.

If she really was pregnant, she had to abort it. She had heard that it was pretty painful and Mr. Longbottom had instructed her totake the abortion medication at home on her own.

What if something happened and she died though?

Mr. Longbottom was going to call a doctor to their residence for her check-up, but she insisted on coming to the hospital for it.Mr. Longbottom agreed to this, but she had to come alone.

He did not come with her and neither did the two bodyguards.

Carrie used a false identity to register for her check-up, not daring to use her real name in case Camryn found out.She did not want the blind bitch to know she was someone else’s mistress.

Carrie paled when she saw that the results were positive.

Yesterday, she had done her research on pregnancy and knew her results meant she was pregnant.

Last night, she had even vomited, which was a symptom of pregnancy.

Her phone rang.

Mr. Longbottom was calling and Carrie picked up.

“Are the results out?” Mr. Longbottom asked.

“| just got them. It’s positive for pregnancy.”

Mr. Longbottom hummed in acknowledgment. “I’d never guess wrong. Come back now. I’ve called the doctor over and asked herto prescribe the medication for you.”

Carrie did not say anything further and hung up silently.

She looked at the report for a moment before she returned to the doctor’s clinic and handed it to the doctor. The doctorconfirmed that she was pregnant.

The doctor looked at Carrie and asked with a serious expression, “Do you want this child?”

“Is that definite?”The doctor said, “I dare not confirm 100%, but the chances of it are high.”“If you want this child, you have to be very careful during your pregnancy. You can’t take just any medication.”

She probably did not want the child. If she did, she would not have been on birth control.
