Chapter 3036

Camryn had always been the embodiment of strength and endurance. Everyone felt that it was simply ridiculous and that Sallyhad been loose-tongued and was such a liar when she made up such lies about Camryn.

If not for Nina rushing over to discipline her daughter and if Sally had been allowed to continue raging drunkenly, no one knewhow far things would have gone.

The crowd also only found out now that Sally had targeted Camryn because she had a crush on Callum. However, they had never heard anything about the Abrams’ daughter pursuing Callum.

It was just a crush all along.

No wonder she targeted Camryn—it was because she was jealous.

“I'm really, really sorry, Mrs. York. I’ve failed to adequately educate my daughter. Tomorrow, | will bring her with me to visit you tomake amends.”

Nina once again apologized to Camryn after Sally sincerely apologized.

She then said to the onlookers, “What my daughter said just now was all baseless. It was all nonsense that she made upbecause she was jealous of Ms. Camryn. | will correct my daughter, and | ask that everyone take this as a warning not to spreadwhat was said today.

“If you do, you will have to bear the consequences of your actions. Defaming and slandering someone can get you sued andjailed.”

After Nina warned the crowd, she took Sally and bade farewell to Mrs. House. She also apologized to the three York madams.while she was at it.

The three York madams did not speak, but as the hostess, Mrs. House had to give some response and she arranged for thebutler to escort the Abrams out.

“Camryn, are you alright?”The three York madams walked over to Camryn and asked in concern.

“I'm fine. She’s the one who’s not alright. When she said all that tripe about me, | poured a few glasses of wine on her in a fit ofanger.”

Rosella said, “Well done. You were still a little too gentle, though. The next time you meet someone like that again, you shouldjust give them a tight slap across the face.”

Tania concurred, “That’s right. Give them a tight slap! You don’t have to worry about offending anybody. We don’t bully people, but we won't let others bully us either.”

Camryn laughed. “You're right. | was still a little too gentle. If there’s a next time, I'll give them a tight slap right across their face.”Then she turned to thank Tasha for also splashing Sally with wine and standing up for her earlier. Before tonight, Tasha and Sally could still be considered friends.

Camryn and Tasha had hardly interacted much. If she had not acquainted herself with Elisa, she would not even have known ofTasha’s existence.

Tasha was someone who stood for justice instead of those she was friendly with.

Tasha said, “Camryn, if you keep thanking me, I'll feel so ashamed. You came to my home as a guest but were insulted andslandered by another guest. Of course, | had to step up.novelbin

“Sally just had one too many to drink and spoke such nonsense because she let it go to her head.”

“Ms. Abrams was not drunk. She really couldn’t wait to smear my reputation.”
