Chapter 2934

Hayden gestured in an invitation for Caroline to have some tea.

Caroline was not reserved about it either and picked up the teacup to take a small sip of tea. “This is

good.”

“All the things I have here are good,” Hayden said. “Everything Kevin sent me is of top quality.”

The tea was one that she kept prepared here though, and was not given by Kevin.

“Is there really no room to maneuver regarding what we talked about the last time?”

Caroline put down her teacup and asked Hayden gently.

Hayden met Caroline’s gaze with an earnest look and said meaningfully, “I’ll only work with you, not

Fisher Enterprise. I won’t work with any company related to the Fishers.”

The one she valued was Caroline, not the Fisher family. Caroline did not represent the Fishers either.

Caroline smiled. “Thank you for thinking so highly of me. Then, I’ll treat you to a meal tonight.”

With her other identity.

Hayden did not immediately agree, so Caroline teased, “Do you have a date with Kevin?”

Hayden admitted, “We’re going to have dinner together before catching a movie.”

The couple could now openly go on a date.

Caroline said enviously, “That’s nice. Then when will you be free?”

“I won’t be free for the next two weeks. I won’t be coming to work tomorrow. Kevin’s taking me on a

holiday for the next two weeks to relax.”

Hayden had never properly rested during the many years she had been supporting Queen Enterprise.

Even during Christmastime, she had to attend various work functions. It had been hard for her to get a

true rest where she could not care about anything.

Kevin persuaded Hayden into it, leaving her with no choice but to work extra hard so that she couldnovelbin

take two weeks off.

Sometimes, Hayden felt very tired and wanted to take a rest because of overwork.

It had to be said that Kevin really understood her.

It was no wonder that she had fallen for Kevin out of the many men she knew.

Although Kevin indeed had a way with words and she would not feel lonely being with him, the main

reason was that he was very thoughtful.

No one’s heart was truly made out of stone. Gradually, her heart was touched by his thoughtfulness

and she fell completely for him.

Fortunately, she was Grandma May’s choice of bride for him.

Hayden internally thanked her lucky stars.

Hugh was not incapable, but he was happy to take it easy since there was someone else shouldering

the heavy burden for him.

“I’ll arrange everything. You can talk to Hugh about the collaboration.”

Caroline hummed in acknowledgment. “I’ll go drop in on him later then.”

Hayden also lifted her teacup and took a few sips of tea before putting it back down and asking

Caroline, “Are things at home alright?”
