Chapter 2921

Serenity smiled. “It’s normal for you to feel fetal movements. Even though I can feel them sometimes, it

doesn’t feel real. It’s easy to be mistaken.”

Although she said so, she still asked to touch Jasmine’s belly.

Taking advantage of the fact that nobody else was in the shop, Jasmine sat behind the cashier,

generously letting Serenity touch her stomach. However, the baby was asleep. Serenity lightly

caressed Jasmine’s belly but did not get a response.

“Baby might be sleeping. When I woke up, I said I could feel it moving, so Josh also touched my bump.

He was amazed when he felt it and interacted with the baby for quite some time. He might have tired

the little one out, so the baby’s sleeping now.”

Serenity chuckled and withdrew her hand. She would soon be able to feel fetal movements herself, sonovelbin

there was no need to be jealous of her friend.

The sound of heels came from outside the door.

Soon, they saw a young woman entering the shop. It was the same woman from yesterday, who was

Carrie, with a different face.

Seeing Carrie, Serenity smiled and asked, “Good morning. Do you still need to buy study materials?”

Carrie glanced at Jasmine and turned back at Serenity. “My family said the reference books I bought

yesterday were useful. He asked me to buy another set for his classmate.”

Serenity got up to get the reference books, saying, “They’re indeed useful. The students in Wiltspoon

junior highs use this set of reference books.”

“Many junior highs use them as teaching material,” she added.

Carrie followed Serenity. She thought to herself as she saw Serenity still eating half a Gingersnap, ‘Isn’t

she the dignified missus of the York family? Tsk, I can’t believe she is still eating such stuff that looks

cheap at first glance.

‘A country bumpkin will always be a country bumpkin. No matter how high she climbs, she will never be

a real lady.’

Carrie looked down on Serenity. She thought Serenity merely had good luck to marry Zachary. In

Wiltspoon, everyone knew that the York family elders were open-minded and would respect any

decision their children made.

That was how Serenity, the Cinderella, was able to marry into a wealthy family and live a carefree life.

Carrie even bullied Serenity in her thoughts.

Until now, Carrie did not think she was wrong. It was all Serenity’s and Camryn’s fault.

The conflict was between her and Camryn, but Serenity had to be a busybody and butt in to stand up

for Camryn. It pissed her off, so she hired someone to teach Serenity a lesson, but she did not expect

Serenity to be able to fight.

The man she hired failed to teach Serenity a lesson and even implicated her, causing her to be jailed

for some time.

If her parents were still free citizens, she could live as she used to after getting out of jail, but after she

was imprisoned, her parents followed suit.

Everything happened because Serenity meddled.

She genuinely hated Serenity.

As she followed Serenity, she carried hatred in her eyes. Looking at Serenity’s slightly protruding

stomach, she wanted to kick her from behind, causing her to fall to the ground and suffer a miscarriage.

Carrie forced herself to endure it to avoid acting recklessly.

“I want to look at some other books,” she said.

Serenity smiled. “Take your time.” New chаpter av?ilable on Drаmа?оvеls.cоm

Then, she walked back to the cashier and sat down.

“Jasmine, are the Gingersnaps good?”
