Chapter 2917

“Okay,” Callum replied.

The couple went to the dining area.

After breakfast, the rain had let up considerably. However, the weather had only gotten colder.

Callum was worried about Camryn freezing. He went upstairs to get her a coat and insisted she wear it.

Only then did they depart for work.

“Take me to the flower shop, darling. I’ll return home in the afternoon.”

Callum hummed in acknowledgment and said, “It’s cold and raining. There won’t be many customers

buying flowers today. Why don’t you rest for the day?”

Camryn usually worked from home if she was not managing the store.

She would only leave Wiltspoon and go to the office if there were important meetings or business

negotiations that required her presence.

She did not have to do so most of the time. With Dalton managing the company, everything was going

well.

Camryn trusted Dalton.

He was also loyal to her and never thought of betraying her.

Callum was not worried about Dalton’s loyalty. If he dared betray Camryn, Callum would ruin his

reputation in the industry and make things difficult for him.

“Contrary to what you think, the rain improves our business. Everyone will call in to order flower

deliveries because they don’t want to head out themselves. I have to be in the store while my

employees deliver the flowers.”

Callum smiled. “Okay. I admit that I don’t know your business well.”

He thought the flower shop’s business would decline during rainy or cold days.

Since Camryn wanted to go to the store, Callum drove her to Spring Blossoms.

The two employees were already at work. Since it was raining, most of the potted flowers for display

were not at their usual spot at the entrance. The store seemed more cramped with all the potted plants

inside.

“Do you want to move your store to a bigger place, honey? This place is a little small.”

“The boss of the store next to mine isn’t planning to extend his lease. I’ll rent his place and combine

these two lots when his contract expires. There’ll be more space then.”

Camryn did not want to change locations. She had relied on Spring Blossoms to pull through lots ofnovelbin

difficult times and used it to trick her family. Spring Blossoms held a special meaning to her. Besides,

all her regular customers were familiar with the place. She did not want to move the store.

“Is the owner selling? Let’s see if we can buy the store.”

Camryn replied, “I enquired, but the store isn’t for sale. The owner wants to keep it to collect rent for a

living. He wants to keep the money coming. He said that if he sold the store and earned a huge chunk

of money at once, he’d be tempted to spend carelessly. He might even lose the money he needs to

sustain himself when he’s old.”

Callum went silent.

Since the owner did not intend to sell, they had no choice but to rent the store.

Callum got out of the car and followed Camryn into the shop.

Callum watched her as she worked.

“That’s right.” Co?tent of Dr?м??ovеls.cоm

Callum grinned. “Of course. Thank you, honey.”

“Go to work. You’re already late.”

Heavens knew how long he would stay if she did not coax him.
