Chapter 2909

Camryn laughed as sweetness filled her heart. She thought to herself that she was really, very lucky.

Before meeting Callum, luck had never been on her side. With a biological mother like Paige, she was

hurt the most deeply by her.

Fortunately, Callum’s love and her in-laws’ doting, as well as the rest of the York family’s care for her

had healed her.

She had also avenged her father and retrieved everything that belonged to her.

Now, all she had to do was to take care of her health and after a few years, have a kid, and then her life

would be complete.

In the end, Camryn accepted the vintage set of jewelry from her mother-in-law. If she continued trying

to refuse it, her in-laws and her husband would take turns trying to persuade her.

She knew Rosella and her aunts-in-law had lots of jewelry. As they did not have daughters, their

jewelry was to be passed on to their daughters-in-law. Grandma May had quite a stash too, despite

having distributed some once before when her daughters-in-law joined the family.

The jewelry Grandma May still had now was to be passed on to her granddaughters-in-law.

Camryn could be said to have personally experienced the various benefits of marrying into the York

family now. It was no wonder people would do anything to marry into the family.

The four of them chatted happily until late. Then, Callum’s parents ushered the young couple upstairs

to rest.

They returned to Callum’s room. It would be where they spend their wedding night, but they had not

started decorating it yet. There was still a little more than a month to go, around mid-December when

Christmas was a few days after the wedding.novelbin

Callum mused that he could finally have a peaceful Christmas, because he was now married and had a

beautiful wife, unlike past Christmases at home where he spent every day being urged to settle down

by his elders to the point he got a headache and had to find various excuses to go out.

However, Grandma May had a rule that starting from Christmas Eve up until New Year’s Day, they had

to stay at Wildridge Manor. They were only allowed to go back to their own homes after New Year’s

Day had passed.

That was why the men who were of marriageable age would stay out all day and only come home late

at night.

Then, because they only came home late at night, they would get nagged by the old lady the next day.

Either way, it was very hard for them to have a peaceful Christmas.

This year, it was probably Dylan’s and Peter’s turn to suffer.

Grandma May had arranged matches for them both, but they did not seem to be taking much action.

Dylan seemed to be making some progress, but he had not said anything, so for the time being, Callum

and the rest did not know how far Dylan and his other half had progressed either.

If his other half was the girl who came to the office the last time to look for Dylan, she was not a bad

prospect. She was young, pretty, and vivacious, and seemed pretty good in all aspects. They trusted

their Grandma May’s judgment.

“Honey.”

The moment they returned to the room, Callum hugged Camryn around the waist and gave her two

kisses on the cheek from behind. “Honey, are you really not going to take me with you to that dinner?”

“Nope.”

“You don’t love me anymore. I want to go so badly but you’re not taking me with you.”

“Sure, sure. I don’t love you anymore. Go ahead and cry.”

Camryn knew what her husband was thinking. He was without a doubt worrying that she would be

mocked and bullied by others. New ch?pter av?ilable o? Drамanоvels.coм

Callum pursed his lips silently.

He knew his wife was not as gentle and weak as she seemed, but he could not help but worry still.
