Chapter 2900

Carrie squinted for a while and when she made the car out and saw it was a luxury one, she guessed

that one of the York men had come home. She was immediately energized and stood in the middle of

the road, planning to force the driver to stop.

Out of all the men of the Yorks, she was only afraid of Zachary.

He usually appeared with a convoy of cars, but this car was alone, so it was obviously not Zachary.

Thus, Carrie fearlessly dared to stand in the middle of the road to try and stop it.

The car halted a small distance away from Carrie.

Camryn wound down the car window and poked her head out to take a look. She could not see clearly,

but she guessed that it was probably her half-sister. No one else would stand in the middle of the road

to block their way.

“You’re finally back, Camryn. Get out of that car and give me money! You took my parents’ assets,

kicked me out of the house, and even canceled my credit cards. Are you trying to starve me to death?

I’m telling you, if you don’t give me money, I’m not leaving! I want everyone to know how cold-blooded

and heartless you are.”

It was best if the York elders thought so too.

They were a big, loving family and would dislike cold-blooded and heartless people.

She wanted to expose that blind bitch’s true colors in front of the York family!

Camryn pulled her head back in and wound the car window up before saying to her husband, “Drive,

darling.”

Callum started the car once more.

“Camryn! Newman! Hit me if you have the guts to! You’re really doing it! Are you trying to kill me?!”

At first, Carrie remained in the middle of the road, arms akimbo as she yelled, thinking that Camryn

would not dare to run her down.

When she saw the car start once more and continue without slowing down, she hurriedly jumped aside

in fright to avoid it.

Janice and Lucy had already moved their chairs to the side of the road and stood watching Callum’s

car drive past them straight toward the manor gates.

Soon, Janice received a call from the butler notifying them that they could get off work.

The butler also immediately transferred their extra wages to them and the two happily got off work, novelbin

leaving Carrie cursing there loudly, though no one paid attention to her.

The wind blew and she shivered from the cold as she was not wearing much.

Should she head home?

Camryn had come back and would definitely not give her any money.

She had stood here stubbornly for a whole afternoon and had been gagged with stinky socks a few

times, which had made her vomit all over the place. Now, she was both hungry and thirsty, mainly

because she had not achieved her goal.

None of the Yorks could be bothered with her.

This strong contrast between them made Carrie hate Camryn even more.

Carrie’s phone rang.

She hurriedly picked up the call.
