Chapter 2881

“I don’t have any letter tracing workbooks for preschoolers here. You can look for it at other

bookstores.”novelbin

Serenity’s bookstore was located in front of a middle school. Her primary customers were middle

schoolers, so she had no preschool materials.

“You don’t have it? I’ll go to other bookstores to get it then.”

After the lady paid for her books, she took them and thanked Serenity before leaving.

Serenity found the silhouette of the lady familiar.

Maybe she had seen her before when she accompanied Zachary to business engagements. She

probably could not remember her because they did not interact much.

She would ask Zachary about it later. Which family had three children with their eldest son married,

their second son in seventh grade, along with their daughter in preschool?

The lady appeared to be in her early twenties, so her husband was likely of similar age.

Serenity would often attend gatherings of the higher society before she was pregnant. However, she

had never heard of anyone’s son getting married at a young age. The young wives she knew were all

older than her. Perhaps the family of the lady’s husband was not part of the listed wealthy families in

Wiltspoon.

The woman’s car was parked nearby. It was a white BMW 7 Series.

There were two men in black suits waiting for her by the car. When she approached them, they greeted

her respectfully. They were probably her bodyguard and driver.

“Let’s go.”

She got inside the car and told the driver to start the car.

As the car left, she turned to look at Serenity’s bookstore. When she deemed the distance was far

enough that Serenity could not see her, she touched her hyper-realistic mask.

She was none other than Carrie, who had been undetectable for the past few days.

She had become Mr. Longbottom’s mistress. However, she bore the identity of his wife when she

interacted with others in Wiltspoon.

Mr. Longbottom said it was so that they did not raise any suspicions.

Carrie was like a changed person ever since she wore the hyper-realistic mask given to her by Mr.

Longbottom. Her mission was to approach Serenity and be friends with her. When she had the

opportunity to meet the child called Laurence, she was to coordinate with Mr. Longbottom and kidnap

the child.

He said he would help Carrie get her revenge against Serenity and Camryn in any way after the

mission was accomplished.

He also mentioned that he could not stand the sight of Zachary and the Yorks.

Carrie did not know anything about Mr. Longbottom’s background. Nevertheless, she was aware that

the man was cruel.

Serenity could never guess her identity as long as they did not spend too much time together.

Although they were enemies, Serenity did not know Carrie well, as they hardly interacted.

Maybe Carrie had been an insignificant person to Serenity all along. Updated at Dr?manovеls.cоm

“I’m younger than you, Serenity. I can afford to wait for a few more years even if I have to,”

Carrie muttered to herself.
