Chapter 2879
Mark was chatting with Walter and Stacy in the living room.
Walter was a very easygoing person. He was a few decades older than Mark, but they got along very
well very quickly.
If Julian had not brought his parents’ breakfast out for them right then, Walter and Mark probably would
have taken an oath to become sworn brothers.
Only the Lord knew how many times Stacy surreptitiously kicked her husband.
Had that old man forgotten where they were?
This was the Crawfords’ home, their future in-laws’ home.
Mark was their future daughter-in-law’s older brother. If the old man became sworn brothers with Mark,
how would their son address Mark then? The seniority would be all messed up.
“Dad, Mom, Mrs. Crawford prepared breakfast for you guys. You should eat it while it’s hot. The rest of
us have already eaten.”
Julian called for his parents to come to the dining room to eat and said, “And let’s stay here for lunch.
Quinn and I will go out to buy groceries later.”
Stacy said smilingly, “Sure. I want to go too, to appreciate the snowy scenery.
“What about you, Walter? You should come too to help carry the groceries.”
Stacy seemed as if she was asking her husband’s opinion but had already decided for him.
She did not dare to leave her husband at the Crawfords’ home alone. She was afraid that by the time
they got back from groceries, her son would have to start calling Mark “Uncle Mark”.
“Sure.”
Walter readily agreed.
Zoey came out of the kitchen and said, a little embarrassed, “I didn’t know the both of you would be
coming, so breakfast is quite simple. I hope that’s okay with you guys. What would you like to eat for
lunch? There’s no need to be polite. Just let me know what you want and I’ll make it.
“I already consider you guys family, so please don’t mind the courtesy.”novelbin
Stacy said with a smile, “We won’t. We won’t be reserved either. We’re a family! But we’re not picky
either—we’ll eat whatever there is to eat.”
“Zoey—ah, I hope you don’t mind me calling you by your first name. Your daughter Quinn is such a
pleasant young lady, not like our rascal Julian. He often makes his dad and I angry.”
Zoey let Stacy address her casually and she said with a smile, “That’s not the case. Quinn has done
her fair share of angering us. Julian is young and successful, mature and calm, gentle and good-
tempered, and patient to boot. He’s so much better than our Quinn.”
Walter looked at his son and joked, “Is the Julian you’re talking about, my son? Why does he sound like
a completely different person?”
“Dad, hurry up and eat your breakfast. It won’t taste as good cold.”
Julian helplessly urged his parents to hurry up and eat.
And stop roasting him.
Leave him with some pride.
He was the heir of the Buchams, after all.
In Wiltspoon, he was a god-like existence in the rumors.
Many people were afraid of him. Reаd at Draмanоvels.com
Half an hour later, Julian and Quinn left for groceries with the Bucham couple.
