Chapter 2875

In truth, Julian had hidden that matter from his parents, but his parents were not ordinary people. They

knew everything he did but just did not say anything about it.

When Zoey, who had been watching from the door, saw her daughter lead two strangers who

resembled Julian in. She quickly guessed their identities.

She hurriedly pushed open the doors of the main house.

When Stacy spotted Zoey, she nearly called Zoey her future in-law.novelbin

The words were almost out of her mouth, but she quickly stopped herself for fear of frightening her

future in-laws with the suddenness of it all.

Zoey had not expected Julian’s parents to come here.

She mused to herself about how her husband and eldest son had just left for the airport to fly to

Wiltspoon and find out more about their characters, though it was good that they had come. Then her

husband would not be discovered trying to find out about the Buchams and it would not be too

embarrassing.

The Crawfords were quite satisfied with Julian.

If the Buchams were nice people, they would not mind the distance and would all agree to Quinn

moving to Wiltspoon after getting married.

It was just that they did not know what Julian was afflicted with. The Crawford brothers had not asked

Julian last night and Quinn did not tell her family about it either. Zoey only guessed from her daughter’s

attitude toward Julian that there was nothing severely wrong with his health.

Perhaps he used to be ill and had now recovered.

In her son’s words, if Julian had not recovered from his illness, he would not have confessed his

feelings for Quinn. If one truly loved someone, he would not be able to bear letting his wife suffer in a

marriage no different from widowhood.

At the thought of this, Zoey stopped worrying.

Now that the two families had met, Zoey felt that the Bucham couple were good-tempered and very

easygoing. They also seemed very down-to-earth.

Before coming here, the Buchams had bought a few sets of cheaper clothing to avoid overwhelming

their future in-laws. They dared not wear luxurious clothing because they were afraid the Crawfords

would think they were much too rich and say that they were not a good match. Then, they would have

been a burden to their son.

The Buchams knew all about the Crawfords and had known for quite some time.

They did not look down on them at all and in fact, felt that the two families were a good fit for one

another.

Strictly speaking, the Crawfords were at more of a disadvantage because Julian was already a middle-

aged man while Quinn was a sprightly young lady. Julian was pretty much robbing the cradle.

Thus, the Buchams humbled themselves and did not put on the airs of the head family of the Buchams.

While Zoey and Mark entertained Walter and Stacy, Quinn turned and walked outside to help Julian

move the stuff in.

When she saw Julian carry a sack full of things in, she asked him, “Is this all? What’s in it?”

“There’s a lot more in the car. My parents filled the car. No wonder they drove a seven-seater here.

They really used it as a van.”

“This sack is full of sweet potatoes,” Julian answered.

He did not know if his parents bought them at the market or from a farm.

When he opened it, he saw how gorgeous the sweet potatoes inside were. Co?tent belo?gs to

Quinn liked eating roasted sweet potatoes. Now that they had this sack of sweet potatoes, she could

have them every day.
