Chapter 2853

Quinn thought about mentioning that it would be too troublesome for him, but she changed her mind at

the last moment. She then nodded and said, “I’ll take up your offer then.”

Quinn treated Julian when he was in Summervale. Now that she was planning to visit Wiltspoon, he

would be treating her. That way, they would not owe each other anything.

“Quinn, besides pancakes, what’s on your mind?”

Julian got back to the main topic.

They looked at each other.

After a moment of eye contact, Quinn tentatively asked, “What else would I think of? Something like

thinking that you like me just because you gave me flowers?

“I know that you like me. I like you too. If we didn’t mutually like each other, we wouldn’t have become

friends.”

After a brief silence, Julian said in a low voice, “Have you never thought that my affection for you isn’t

just platonic, but the affection a man has for a woman?”

“You’re a man, and I’m a woman. Your affection for me is exactly a man’s affection for a woman. What’s

the difference?”

“What I mean is, Quinn, I love you. I want to pursue you. I don’t want to be your buddy, I want to be

your husband.”

Julian said his heartfelt words in one go.

Driven by Quinn’s questioning, he impulsively clarified his feelings.

It was better to let her understand.

Josh had said that he had to confess to her. Otherwise, she would not know his feelings for her.

If he did not say it, she would remain indifferent, so how would she know otherwise?novelbin

Julian spoke a bit loudly, and after he finished speaking, he felt that the atmosphere was off.

The commotion in the gym, which was lively just moments ago, instantly quieted down. Everyone

turned their attention to the two of them.

Julian looked at everyone and then at Quinn, who was staring at him in a daze. Gradually, a blush

spread across his face.

He realized he should have chosen a more intimate setting, decorated it romantically, and then

confessed to Quinn. Instead, he blurted it loudly in the gym, with so many people watching—her fellow

coaches, students, and everyone else.

She might feel embarrassed.

Quinn reached out, touched Julian’s forehead, then his cheeks on both sides, and said, “Forehead

temperature is normal, but your cheeks are really red. But it doesn’t seem like a fever. Julian, are you

telling the truth?”

Ignoring the attention they were getting. Julian grabbed Quinn’s hand, pulled it down, and looked at her

seriously. “Quinn, listen, I’m not feverish, nor possessed by a ghost, and definitely not talking

nonsense. I’m speaking from my heart.

“I fell in love with you at first sight, and I’ve been in love with you for a while now.”

Quinn did not know what to say.

Julian fell in love with her at first sight?

A girl with high martial prowess like her, was not considered too rough? Were not people put off by her

manly personality? Were they not afraid that she might become abusive in the future?

Julian, a successful CEO who had seen countless beautiful women, fell in love with her at first sight?

Quinn’s head was filled with questions.

“Um, Julian, I, I... suddenly remembered I have something urgent to attend to. I have to go out for a

while. I’m leaving now.”

Quinn quickly withdrew her hand, abandoned her food, grabbed her phone, and dashed out of the gym.
