The sky was already dark even though it was still early. Days were shorter and nights were longer
during winter.
Quinn’s class with the kids had just ended.
“Julian is here.”
A kid spotted Julian’s car and shouted. The children swarmed out of the gym.
“Don’t come over. The wind is strong,” yelled Julian.
However, everyone still rushed out.
Julian passed a few bags of snacks to the older children to be brought into the gym while the younger
ones took the fried chicken.
Quinn walked out while putting on a thick jacket.
When she saw Julian, she smiled and said, “I used to be the most popular person in the gym before
you came, but it’s you now.”
Will came out too. He said, “You’re just stingy. If you were as generous as Julian and bought everyonenovelbin
a meal every time you came, you would definitely become Ms. Popular again.”
“I’m not stingy. How many times can I treat everyone with the little money I have? Julian is the CEO of
a huge company. I’m not going to fight Julian for popularity. It requires too much money.”
She then exclaimed, “I think it’s snowing.”
Will looked up at the sky. “It is, but what about it? It always snows during winter.
“Hey Will, help me carry these drinks. I wanted them to have something cooling to go with the hot fried
chicken, so I got some isotonic drinks.”
Julian moved the cartons of drinks and had no issues ordering Will around.
Will glanced into Julian’s car and saw the bouquet on the passenger seat. A gleam flashed across his
eyes, but he remained quiet.
Julian had been living in their house for quite some time. They knew his personality and character well.
Although Julian had a cold side to him, he was also gentle. He never expressed his heartless side to
the Crawfords, but they could sense that he was not as friendly as he looked.
How could a CEO of a mega-corporation, who had been in the business world for over a decade, be
such a gentle person?
The Crawfords felt Julian had a conscience and would not be involved in illegal activities. Moreover, he
was a smooth-talker and had successfully won Mr. and Mrs. Crawford over. They were aware of
Julian’s feelings for Quinn but decided not to interfere with their developing relationship.

Zoey had been feeding him vitamins often. She wanted to ensure Julian could live a healthy, long life.
That way, he would be able to stay by Quinn’s side.
Julian was unaware of Zoey’s intention behind giving him vitamins every day.
Julian replied with a smile, “It’s a habit now.”
Summervale was getting colder.
After speaking, Will moved the drinks into the gym. The gym had a heater. The children wore uniforms
that were not too thick when they trained. Otherwise, it would weigh them down and restrict their

Everyone enjoyed the great combo of fried chicken and energy drinks.
