Chapter 2833

“Are you two with Stan and Sebastian?” Liberty asked.

The two women observed Liberty’s reaction. After mentioning their husbands’ identities, they noticed

Liberty’s silence and understood that Liberty remembered their husbands.

The woman in the passenger seat quickly answered in a low voice, “I am Cindy, and Judy.”

Liberty nodded toward both of them and asked gently, “When you came out, were you followed by

anyone?”

“No, we have someone helping with the aftermath behind us. Ms. Liberty, you don’t need to worry.”

Liberty smiled. “I’m not worried or afraid. I’m concerned that you might be discovered. If news of your

visit reaches Madam Fisher, it could be detrimental to you.”

Liberty came here specifically for the Fishers, and it was normal for her to interact with members of the

Fishers.

However, if these two were found out by Belinda, they might face consequences. It was not her fault if

the Fisher members sought her out, but they had to consider the repercussions.

The two women showed some fear in their eyes, but Judy quickly said, “Ms. Liberty, can we talk

privately?”

“Of course, I’m always available. Where would you like to talk? If you suggest a location, I’ll come over

later. It’s probably better if we don’t go together. I think I’m more noticeable.”

Liberty expressed concern for their safety, considering the potential consequences. The two women felt

reassured by her kind thoughts.

Their husbands had thought it over at home for several days, anxiously anticipating the worst. They

knew Belinda was distant toward collateral relatives, not providing many opportunities to develop;

especially those with exceptional abilities who often faced suppression. It was challenging to stand out.

After two days of secret discussions, the two couples unanimously decided to defect to Liberty. They

wanted to gamble on Liberty’s potential success. If Liberty won, they would be the first to join her. They

believed that their prospects would be better aligned with Liberty’s leadership.

When their parents were still alive, they often reminisced about the previous matriarch's magnanimity in

private. Although the previous matriarch had a ruthless side, her generous heart remained. As long as

anyone in the family showed promise, she would provide them with opportunities.

Moreover, she established a system with complete trust. She would not employ people whom she didnovelbin

not trust, nor would she doubt those she hired. In the Fishers’ eyes, the previous matriarch was

someone who truly wanted the family to prosper and grow stronger.

For a family to thrive, it required all of its members to work together as one. How could they hope to

thrive if they depended solely on its main branch?

Besides, the recent scandal involving the true and false heiresses had caused some turmoil within the

family. Even if the genuine heiress had returned, it would still take her time to adapt, and two years

were just insufficient.

“Let’s go to Fortress Hotel then,” Cindy said after deep thought.

Jensburg’s two most famous hotels were Fortress Hotel and Jensburg Hotel. These two establishments

used to be fierce competitors, often competing to be the hottest hotel in town. New chаpter av?ilable on

Now, both owners were in a romantic relationship, and though competition still existed, it was milder

than before.

If Kevin could hear Cindy’s thoughts, he would have said, “I just wanted to pursue my wife, and it

ended up affecting my family’s reputation.”
