Chapter 2798

Would that actually be the case?

Was Hayden indeed a woman, cross-dressing as a man before, or was he now cross-dressing as anovelbin

woman?

Everyone was confused by Hayden.

However, no one dared to clarify.

Some of those who had good relations with the Queens tried calling Donald and Sophia. Alas, nobody

could reach them because their phones were turned off.

Hayden was welcomed into the main house by Old Mr. Reading, and gracefully took a seat.

Mrs. Reading, Old Mr. Reading’s daughter-in-law, kept looking at Hayden several times, hesitating to

speak.

She and Sophia were acquainted. They played cards, went shopping, and had meals together, so they

were somewhat friends.

“Mrs. Reading, if you have something to say to me, feel free to speak openly without reservation.”

Hayden noticed that Mrs. Reading wanted to say something and took the initiative to ask, to avoid

avoiding her voiceless staring.

Old Mr. Reading looked toward his daughter-in-law.

She hesitantly said, “Nothing, I just think Mr. Hayden is wearing a beautiful evening gown. Is it a gift

from Mr. Kevin to Mr. Hayden? Where did you have it tailored? Someday, I would like to have two made

as well.”

Kevin smiled. “It’s not a gift from me. Mrs. Queen bought it for Hay.”

Kevin had given Hayden women’s clothing before, but she refused them. Later, Hayden reluctantly

wore it once for him, but she still did not keep the clothes.

Knowing that Hayden would not accept it, Kevin did not give Hayden any more women’s clothes.

Kevin had no idea that Hayden would attend the banquet in women’s clothing tonight as she did not

inform him in advance. If he had known, he would have sent her several sets of more beautiful gowns

in advance.

The evening gown Hayden wore tonight looked good, but it was conservative. It did not reveal any part

of the back, unlike those worn by other wealthy young ladies that exposed shoulders and backs.

Mrs. Reading asked, “Bought by… Mrs. Queen?”

She had thought it was a gift from Kevin to Hayden.

The Reading family members, like others, also speculated that Hayden cross-dressed for Kevin, and

that Kevin was the one who forced Hayden into this.

“Yes, it was my mom who bought it. I told her I wanted to wear a dress tonight, so she bought me an

evening gown. Do I look good, Mrs. Reading?” Hayden asked with a smile.

“It looks good… but Hayden, you are a man. Wearing a dress is unbecoming of you. Me and your mom

are very well acquainted, and seeing you like this, I can’t turn a blind eye.”

She glanced at Kevin before adding, “Your parents respect your decision to be with Kevin. We’re just

outsiders and shouldn’t say much. However, seeing you like this… I don’t know how to put it, but it just

doesn’t seem right.”

Hayden suppressed a smile and said, “What if I told you I’m a girl? Would you believe it? I have always

been a girl, but I usually like unisex outfits, which led everyone to mistake me for a man.”

After a pause, Hayden added, “It’s not that everyone had misunderstood me; I simply misled everyone.

Actually, I am a daughter of the Queen family, and my brother Hugh and I are fraternal twins.

“I felt that it’s easy and carefree being a man. I can do anything without worrying about being judged

with prejudices or preconceptions.”

The Reading family was dead silent.

What did Hayden say?

He claimed to be a woman who liked dressing as a man. Thus, he presented himself as the eldest son

of the Queen family, misleading everyone.

In reality, he was a she.

It was not Mr. Hayden, but Ms. Hayden.

The Reading family members thought they had misheard.

Mrs. Reading was even more dumbfounded, and the young lady beside her, a member of the Reading

family who once admired Hayden, did not fare any better.
