Upon hearing that, Sophia said, “Don’t hesitate. You’re a girl. You’re allowed to dress up as one. You’ve
worn men’s clothing for more than twenty years. It’s time for you to switch back. Think about how
happy Kevin would be if he could accompany you to the banquet while you’re in a dress.
“When that time comes, everyone will realize that you’re actually a woman. No one will criticize you and
Kevin’s relationship anymore. Many people have come to me, asking me to stop you from dating Kevin.

preference because he kept bugging you.
“I wanted to retort that you two were absolutely straight, yet you refused to return to being a woman.

Sophia could only say that her children were all grown up. As a mother, she would not interfere with

have grandchildren.
Sophia had felt angry and helpless.
“I’ll choose a few dresses for you according to your preference immediately. Do you need new jewelry?
You can choose from my collection. We should buy a few pairs of high heels too. You can wear the one
that you find comfortable.”
Hayden replied, “You can decide everything for me. I’m free tomorrow evening. I’ll go back to try out the
dresses and shoes. I’m so used to dress shoes that I probably can’t even walk in heels. I have to
practice walking in them so I don’t make a fool of myself in public.”
Sophia laughed. “You’re right. You do have to practice. People who are not used to wearing heels
become desperate to take them off after walking several steps. One evening might not be enough.
Can’t you take the entire day off? Hugh can handle the company.
“That rascal isn’t dating anyone now. He should do more work. You can leave some work to him and
make some time for yourself.”
Sophia wanted to dress her daughter up gorgeously.
“I have a meeting tomorrow morning, Mom. It’s very important.”
“You’re a workaholic. Do you need a wig? Your hair is short now. It might not look good with a dress.
You’ll look like a man wearing a dress.”
Hayden said, “Can’t I just go with short hair? It’s so troublesome. Forget it. I’ll just attend as a man.”
“Okay, okay. Short hair is fine. We don’t need a wig. You can grow your hair out after returning to being

Hayden replied, “It’s easier to manage short hair. I just have to smooth my hair out with my fingers in

The twins should have exchanged sexes; Hayden was acting more like a man than Hugh was.
