Luckily, Belinda did not seem to like them a lot. Those thieves dared not visit without her permission.

so she made up her mind to work with Emma to frame Celine and have her kicked out of the family.

Emma knew Caroline's personality. She would not resort to underhanded tactics to go against Celine.
“I’ll look for Ellie. We have nothing to fear if we have each other.”

The two of them discussed a plan and exited the room. They saw Ellie who had happened to come
upstairs. Ellie asked, “Where are you two going?”
“Nowhere. We’re just going for a walk after having our meal.”
“Let me join you guys.”
Ellie decided to tag along and went downstairs with them.
Meanwhile, at Fisher Enterprise, Caroline knocked on the CEO's office and entered after Belinda
granted her permission.
Belinda was smoking.
The ashtray was filled with cigarette butts. Caroline told Belinda, “You shouldn’t smoke so much.”
“It’s become a habit. I smoke whenever I feel like it now. With how old I am now, I don’t fear death or
illness.”
“You’ll be healthy and live a long life, Mom. Everyone has gotten off work. Let’s have dinner together. I
know you don’t exactly have an appetite from how little you ate during lunch.”novelbin
Caroline knew Belinda was anguished over Hunter’s affair.
Someone had posted a video of Belinda beating Hunter and his lover at Fortress Hotel. It made the
news too, which became a hot topic instantly, but it was quickly removed by Caroline.
