Chapter 2594

“Besides, no one in their right mind will try to offend Old Mrs. York. She’s the one with the most

connections. You’ll know that no one in my social circle is simple once you get acquainted with Serenity

and the rest.”

Families of higher status usually knew each other well with some even allies.

“Will you still be my friend if you’ll be in danger because of me, Quinn? Will you break off our

friendship?”novelbin

Will turned his head and said, “What do you take Quinn for? My sister has already thought of you as

her best friend. She’s sincere and will go to any lengths to help her friends. She’ll never break off your

friendship.

“However, that’s only if you don’t do anything illegal that’ll endanger Quinn. Otherwise, not only will we

cut all ties with you, we’ll also beat you up.”

Then, he told Quinn, “Julian was teasing you. Why did you believe him? If his situation is as dangerous

as it sounds, he won’t contact us anymore if he has a sliver of conscience. Since he dared to come to

our house for a meal and stay there, he’s not in danger.

“That’s unless he’s a person without conscience, but it doesn’t seem that way to me.”

Will complimented as he could indulge in some wine thanks to Julian.

He stopped and waited for Julian to catch up to him in front. He then rested his arm on Julian’s

shoulder and said, “Are you interested in my sister? I feel like everything you said was to prepare my

sister for something.”

Although Will was a martial arts fighter who was slightly dense, he was not stupid.

“Will.”

Quinn said, “What nonsense are you talking about? Julian is a friend, a brother.”

“Do you know why Quinn hasn’t even been in a relationship despite being twenty-four already, Julian?

She was known for fighting before she was twenty years old, and guys dared not approach her

because of her skills. After she hit twenty, she treated all the guys as if they were her brothers.

“There’s a reason my mom is worried that Quinn won’t be able to get married.”

“Will.”

Quinn was close to flinging a punch at him. “You and Mark said that you’ll take care of me for life if I

can’t get married and told me not to rush into it. I listened to you. I haven’t met any guys who can see

me for who I am anyway.

“I’d rather stay single than compromise for someone I can’t get along with. Besides, I’m only twenty-

four. I’m still young. On the other hand, you should be anxious because you’re already thirty-two. Your

classmates are already fathers while you’re still single. You’re the one to talk.”

Julian smiled and said, “Quinn is a nice girl. The timing isn’t right for her yet. Let nature take its course.”

He wanted Quinn to fall in love with him instead of treating him as a brother.

She was inexperienced and was used to treating the men around her as close friends.
