Zachary said, “Since every matriarch has a loyal assistant, they must know a lot. If he’s still alive, we’ll
be able to get him to testify against Madam Fisher. If he had passed away, it’d be nearly impossible to
verify the truth after four to five decades.”
It was even challenging for the Bucham family to gather relevant evidence.
“I’ll call Julian later to get his help on the identity of the previous matriarch’s assistant and where he is if
he’s alive.”
Kevin said, “I can ask around too. It’ll be faster to ask Donald about this.”
The assistant might be alive, but searching for him would alert Belinda.
“Okay. Let me know if there’s new information.”
“Sure. I’m envious that Callum and Camryn have gotten their marriage license. We received the picture
from Nana together, but I’m still wooing my wife while he’s married.”
After they were done talking about serious matters, Kevin started chatting with Zachary. Both of them
had time anyway.
“Who told you to stay idle for half a year? It’s no wonder you lagged behind Callum. I don’t think
Hayden is entirely uninterested in you. You can probably succeed next year if you put in more effort.”
Zachary added, “Don’t talk to me about this. You should handle your own life decisions. I’m going to
rest now.”
After speaking, he ended the call as he could not be bothered to listen to Kevin’s chatter.
Kevin was the one who disliked Hayden for her manly appearance and refused to court her. Upon
arriving in Jensburg, he kept trying to expose Hayden’s identity as a woman, which delayed his
courting further.
Kevin was not angry that Zachary ended the call abruptly. He muttered, “He doesn’t care about his
brother at all after getting his happily ever after.”
After that, he took his car keys and walked out while dialing Donald’s number. When Donald picked up,
he said, “Do you have time this evening, Donnie? Let’s go fishing. I know a quiet place with clear
waters and lots of fish. The scenery is great too. We can fish the entire evening and feast at night.”
Donald said, “I’m free now. I was just about to ask when you’d like to go fishing with me. Don’t leave
me after getting what you want.”
Kevin stopped going fishing with him daily after he started dating his daughter.
“I’ve been busy. I called you immediately after knowing my schedule for the evening was empty. Wait
for me, Donnie. I’ll go over to your place.”
“Okay. I’ll get everything ready in the meantime.”
After the call ended, Kevin called his people and ordered them to reveal Hunter’s affair to Madam
Fisher to force upon her an early return. That way, she could catch Hunter off guard and red-handed.
On the other hand, Zachary contacted Julian right after talking to Kevin. Julian took some time to
answer the call.
“I’m at the airport and about to board a plane, Zachary. What’s the matter? Can we talk later if it isn’t

Zachary asked, “Don’t you take a private plane?”
“Quinn likes someone down-to-earth. If I were to take my private plane, she’d think I’m out of her
league. You can be short or talk to Josh about it. He’s in charge of everything while I’m not in
Wiltspoon.”
After finishing up his work, Julian booked an air ticket to Summervale to meet Quinn.
Quinn had come over to Wiltspoon to attend Zachary and Serenity’s wedding. She returned to
Summervale after a brief stay. However, Julian could not accompany her back as he was busy with
work.
He missed her a lot after not seeing her for half a month. He wished he could teleport to her side in an
instant.
