Caroline happened to spot her brothers hanging out with other women. She could not bear her sisters-
in-law being kept in the dark, so she told them the truth and that was when all the drama started.
As a woman, Hayden thought Caroline had done the right thing.

There was a gleam in Kevin’s eyes when he spoke. “However, we can help Madam Fisher. Since we
witnessed this scene, we should tell her about it. She’s Serenity’s grandaunt and can be considered a
relative.
“Don’t you think so, Hay?”
Hayden said, “You’re unbelievable. Do you think the Fisher family doesn’t have enough mess on their
hands right now?”
“No. We’re just Good Samaritans. Look at what Hunter’s doing. He’s committing a mistake. We’re
simply correcting him and helping Madam Fisher. We aren’t wrongly accusing him.
“As a man who’s loyal to his partner, I despise Hunter’s act. If he doesn’t like his wife, he can file for a
divorce. How can he keep his marriage while craving a young, pretty woman? There’s no best of both

family. He married into Madam Fisher’s family.
“I heard Madam Fisher had given the Clarks money when they got married. His main responsibility was
to have children with her. Their sons will take his last name, while daughters will take Madam Fisher’s
last name. Of course, if he had been willing, their sons could’ve been Fishers too.
“However, Hunter didn’t allow that. Perhaps he wanted his children to continue his lineage.
“Madam Fisher is very strict with him. He can never have more than five hundred dollars in hand at a
time. He used to fool around with other women but stopped after Madam Fisher found out and taught
him a lesson.
“His money must come from his children now. He’s nice to his children, especially Celine, whereas, just
like Madam Fisher, he treats Caroline coldly.
“They did not raise Caroline, and she was already over twenty years old when she returned to the
Fisher family. It’ll be difficult for her to develop a relationship with her biological parents.
“Who would pay attention to Hunter? People hardly know him, and he’s even harder to recognize in
