Chapter 2556

Carrie did her best to keep the money, but she was not able to fight against two strong servants.

She wondered where Camryn found such strong employees.

All the cash was taken away.

“This is my house, and everything in it belongs to me. Thanks for opening the door, Carrie. I won’t take

the bag that you’re carrying now. You can take it as a gift from me.”

Carrie had the urge to strangle Camryn.

She had bought the bag herself, yet Camryn shamelessly said it was a gift from her.

“I’ll take the bag away if you keep glaring at me. Are you going to leave, or do you need someone to

drag you out?”

Camryn spoke with a light tone. However, she sounded as cold as ice to Carrie.

Aunt Brenda and Aunt Amy mentioned that Camryn was the cruelest person ever; Carrie finally

understood and experienced it. Camryn never cared about their sisterhood.

“I’ll walk on my two feet. Not all that belongs to the Newman family is yours, Camryn. Just wait. I’ll take

back everything that belongs to me and my parents.”

Carrie clutched her bag tightly and stomped out.

She wanted to take the matter of inheritance to court.

Camryn chuckled. She was not afraid of a lawsuit regarding inheritance disputes.

Every aspect of the Newman family was under her control.

Even if Carrie wanted to claim her parents’s share of the assets in court, Camryn could tell her that

illegal companies were the only things that belonged to her parents, which were seized. Meanwhile,

Camryn had become the major shareholder of the remaining legal establishments.

Carrie would have to split her share with Trenton as well. The final portion she would be getting would

be much less than expected.

Well, it could be a surprise for her. Camryn was not in a rush to expose the truth.

Carrie would probably spend all of the money after getting her share. She could not make a fuss

afterward if the court divided the inheritance.

Even if Carrie did not splurge her money, Camryn would take it all back legitimately.

Carrie left the Newmans’ villa under the stares of the two servants. Camryn let Carrie drive her car

away.

Maintaining a car was difficult. Carrie would have to earn money to keep her luxury car in good shape.

After Carrie left the villa, she parked the car by the roadside and took her phone out. The battery was

depleted. She charged it in the car and turned it on to call Mrs. Clark, but the person who answered

was a stranger.

“Where’s Mrs. Clark? Please pass her the phone.”

“I don’t know who Mrs. Clark is. You have the wrong number. I just bought this number.”

The stranger hung up after speaking.novelbin

Did she dial the wrong number?

Could she have remembered the number wrongly?

It was unlikely.

Carrie tried again, but the call could not go through. The person probably blocked her number.

Did Mrs. Clark cancel the number, and it got sold to someone else?

Why did she not inform her beforehand?

Did Serenity find out about her joining hands with Mrs. Clark?

Serenity could not have discovered it so quickly.

Carrie was confused.
