Camryn turned to feel for the car. Then, she moved her hands along the car and opened the door. After
getting in, she told the driver, “Send me back inside.”
Next, she informed the butler, “Let Carrie in.”
Carrie dropped her suspicions when she saw Camryn feeling the car. She was sure that Camryn was
still blind.
She had nothing to worry about anymore. Her priority was to retrieve her phone and bank card.
A few minutes later, Carrie and Camryn went upstairs, with Carrie leading the way.
She was afraid Camryn would suddenly change her mind and order someone to chase her out.
Now that all the employees were changed, no one would listen to her.
Carrie wanted to get her belongings as soon as possible.
Camryn walked at a relaxed pace.
She even answered Callum’s call halfway and talked to him for some time while standing at the
staircase.
She continued her way up after the long call.
As soon as she was on the second floor, she saw Carrie exiting a room with a new Hermès bag she
had bought previously. Obviously, she had gone into her room to get her stuff. The days she spent
without her phone and bag must have felt terrible.
Camryn’s eyes gleamed as she allowed Carrie to take those things. She had already blocked Carrie’s
card. Carrie would not be able to spend any money from her account.
Carrie was young and unemployed. She did not have a source of income, and the allowance card her
parents had given her was registered under the company. Each month, a large sum of money would be
transferred to the account linked to the card for Carrie to spend.
Camryn had frozen Carrie’s card right after she took over Newman Enterprise.
Carrie glanced at her sister smugly. She said, “Let’s see who’s going to be chased out of here later.”
Camryn replied, “We’ll know once you look at the title deed.”
“Wait here. I’ll get it now.”
Carrie went to the master room and keyed in the password openly, thinking Camryn could not see.
She entered the room once the door was unlocked. As their favorite child, she knew the passwords to
the room and the safe.
She let Camryn “find her way” into the room herself.
Carrie unlocked the safe with the password. Upon opening the safe, she saw wads of cash with eachnovelbin
bundle amounting to a hundred thousand dollars.
She grabbed a bundle and stuffed it into her bag without hesitation. However, she thought it was a little
heavy and only took thirty thousand dollars.
After some searching, Carrie found the title deed. There was not just one. Her parents had other
properties to their names. She went through them one by one. When she finally found the one
belonging to the Newmans’ villa, she opened it and saw Camryn’s name.
