Chapter 2549

All of this was known to them.

Even before they knew Camryn, once they learned what the days had been for Camryn at her house,

they wished Carrie could be imprisoned forever.

Therefore, when Camryn took action against Carrie now, they did not think it was excessive. Instead,

they felt that her actions were minor and would not cause any real harm.

Callum held Camryn’s hand and supported her silently. No matter what decision she made, he would

stand by her.

She had faced many challenges to reach this point, and she was still standing.

She was one hell of a woman, or else she would not have survived until today.

She intended to make things difficult for Carrie. Compared to what Paige and Carrie did to her, her

retaliation was nothing.

Camryn turned to her fiancé and smiled but she did not utter a word and simply held his hand.

She would neither be easily defeated nor forgive someone.

Carrie waited with Derrick and Edward at the entrance of the manor, anticipating a response.

There was no air conditioning outside, and they sat in the guardhouse exposed to the hot sun.

They became restless with the merciless hot weather. Annoyed, she said, “What’s taking them so longnovelbin

to respond? What kind of weather is this? It’s November already, but it is still scorching.”

Derrick tried to calm her down, saying, “Just give it a little more time. We should get a response soon.

The weather in Wiltspoon is like this. It won't be hot in a couple of months.”

The New Year is just around the corner and spring beckons.

Even then, the weather in Wiltspoon will still be rather warm.

“I bet Camryn did this on purpose. She deliberately delayed the response, so that we could sit here

waiting in the scorching sun.”

If Carrie knew that it would be so hot, she would have prepared an umbrella.

As she was about to blow a fuse, the security guard got out of the booth and apologetically told her,

“Ms. Carrie, Ms. Camryn said that she’s currently busy and won’t be able to meet you. Kindly leave the

premises.”

“What did that little rat say?”

Camryn snapped to her feet, her pretty face contorted with anger. “She won't see me? Too busy? What

on earth could she be so busy with on a weekend? I bet she's doing it on purpose, deliberately

avoiding me.

“That damn blind bitch!”

Carrie was absolutely livid.

The security guard furrowed his brows and said, “Ms. Carrie, please mind your choice of words.”

Not to mention that their missus had regained her sight. Even if she had not, it was inappropriate to

insult her by calling her a “blind bitch”.

If Callum had heard her, he would cut her tongue off.

It was no wonder the relationship between Ms. Camryn and Ms. Carrie was so strained.

The younger sister showed no respect toward her elder sister.

“Who are you to lecture me? She’s a blind, useless, bitch, a bitch…Ugh!”

Carrie could no longer utter a word.

Derrick covered her mouth. He and Edward dragged the resisting Carrie outside, who was still trying to

curse. They dragged her for a good distance away before letting go of her.
