This young woman was Carrie.
After getting out of the car, she walked directly to the security booth window and began hitting the
guard with her phone.

attack from Carrie.
“Why did you hit me?”

Callum York. If you dare block me and prevent me from going up the hills, you’re asking for a beating!”
Camryn’s sister?
In the past, the Newman family did not have much interaction with the York family. Most of the staff at
the villa only knew that Camryn had a brother who was in college. There had been no mention of a
sister by Camryn.
The security guard had never heard of her either.
The men in the car got out as well.
The taxi driver said in a rush, “If I can’t drive up, I won’t go any further. Please make the payment, and
you can walk up the hills.”
“That won’t do. Walking up is tiring. You wait here, and we’ll give you the fare when you take us to the
entrance of the villa in a bit.”
Carrie did not want to hike.
While it did not seem very high, it would be exhausting.
She was no longer as pampered as she used to be, but now that she was out of prison, why would the
second young lady of the Newman family have to hike up the hill?
There was no available vehicle, so they had to take a taxi, and Carrie felt quite aggrieved.
The taxi driver felt helpless and had no choice but to wait.

through immediately! I am Carrie Newman, the younger sister of Camryn Newman. I’m telling you that
if you don’t let me through, I will report you as soon as I see my sister, and you will be in big trouble.”
The security guard, seeing that Carrie had ceased her physical assault, returned to his desk, and took
out a visitor registration book and pen. He then placed them by the window and calmly replied,
“Regardless of who you are, this is our rule. All visitors must register. Once you’re registered, I will let
you through.
“If you have the courage to break through, there’s nothing I can do about that.”
In any case, he had worked at Wildridge Manor for many years and had never witnessed anyone

Carrie made a threatening gesture as if she was about to hit the security guard, but she was pulled
back by her two cousins.

The older cousin who had a fierce appearance was Edward Chandler. Her two aunts in the Newman
family had arranged for their eldest sons to accompany Carrie to Wildridge Manor.
The previous night, the cousins had accompanied Carrie back to the Newman’s villa with the intention
of poisoning the four guard dogs and sneaking inside.
They overlooked the dogs guarding the gate, so they assumed that the dogs were restrained.
Confident that the dogs had been tethered, they boldly snuck in.
However, when they reached the middle of the yard, the four guard dogs started barking and charged
at them.
Edward and his cousin ran quickly and managed to reach the gate. They climbed over it to escape.
However, Carrie was not as fast as they were. As she reached the gate, one of the dogs jumped and
bit into her, dragging her from the gate to the ground.
If the butler had not heard the barking and quickly came over to investigate, Carrie would have been
severely injured by the four guard dogs last night.
