Chapter 2514

Hayden had feelings for Kevin, but it was not deep enough for her to marry him.

Therefore, Kevin’s priority was to continue courting her.

He could also supervise Fortress Hotel and the few factories York Corporation owned in Jensburg.

Camryn recalled Hayden’s aloofness. “Hayden Queen looks manlier than a man. Her aura and working

style are similar to a man’s, but her voice sounds clear and isn’t as husky.”

Hayden would intentionally lower her pitch when speaking to others, but it was still distinguishable from

a man’s.

Nevertheless, there were men with slightly higher pitches, which created a public assumption thatnovelbin

Hayden was one of those men. No one suspected that Hayden was a woman.

Callum smiled. “With over twenty years of experience in disguising as a man, naturally she could pull it

off excellently. Her attitude is as cold as Zachary’s past personality, stern and aloof.

“I guess you have no idea how strict and cold Zachary used to be. He had already evolved into a doting

husband when you first met him. He’s so gentle to Serenity.

“Only Kevin can handle a woman like Hayden. I prefer girls like you. You may be soft and look like a

pushover, but you’re actually strong and persistent.”

Camryn then gave him a gentle pinch.

“Why did you woo a pushover then?”

She never asked him to date her.

She did not want to burden him, yet he insisted on clinging to her.

He even stole her first kiss.

Luckily, his respect for her grew and he never forced himself on her again after that incident.

Callum thought, ‘I hope she doesn’t recount the past now. I was jealous and acted rashly then.’

The incident in question was when he forced a kiss on her and she ignored him after. He then panicked

and sought Zachary and Serenity’s help, asking her to put in good words for him while he shamelessly

followed Camryn around and apologized.

“I did it willingly.”

Right then, someone exited the house.

Camryn could vaguely see someone walking out, but she could not be sure who it was as the person

was still far from her. She asked Callum softly, “I see someone coming out. Who is it?”

“It’s Aunt Sasha.”

“Oh, I can see a silhouette, but I can’t make out her features.”

“I’ll prepare your medicine tonight. Your vision will gradually improve if you take it on time.”

“To be honest, the medicine’s bitter.”

She had to pinch her nose before each dose.
