Chapter 2471

Liberty poked Serenity’s forehead and said, “Zachary is concerned about you. Besides, he only talks to

me when you’re the one in the wrong. He doesn’t make false accusations. If he doesn’t care about you

at all, he won’t even pay attention to what you do.”

Serenity smiled. “Yes, my Zachary’s the best. My bad, Liberty. He’s just concerned about me.”

“That’s right. Yet you got unhappy when your mistakes were pointed out.”

Liberty poked Serenity’s forehead again. “I told Zachary to inform me if he couldn’t handle you. I’m the

only person who can make you behave.”

Serenity stuck out her tongue playfully.

They continued strolling in the Stones’ courtyard to exchange secrets and then returned to the house.

Not long after, Audrey and Elisa went to the hospital with a few containers packed with food.

Remy drove them while Darrell was tasked to entertain Zachary.

Since Serenity and Liberty had visited Alice and the baby, they left shortly after having a meal at the

Stones’ house.

Liberty returned to the restaurant, while Zachary and Serenity went back to Wildridge Manor.

Meanwhile, at the entrance of a prison, Carrie looked up at the sky after stepping out of the prison. The

sky outside the prison was azure blue, and the air was fresh. Although the heat from the sun was

slightly unbearable, she found it pleasant.

The days without freedom felt like years to a spoiled princess like her.

In order to be granted an early release, instead of the following year, she put on her best behavior and

ultimately she got it.

Previously, Carrie had ordered someone to wreck Serenity’s car and beat her up. However, the plan

failed because Serenity was adept in martial arts. After the incident, Carrie’s parents compensated

Serenity with a new car to settle the issue privately. Even so, Serenity refused and sued Carrie after

receiving the car as compensation.

The sentence was not too heavy, but it did make Carrie suffer. Although she seemed to have repented

and behaved well in prison, her heart was filled with resentment toward Serenity.

In the past, she only wanted to wreck Serenity’s car and teach her to mind her own business.

Now, she wished to let Serenity have a taste of how life in prison feels like.

Even worse, her parents committed crimes and were given a heavier sentence. While her dad was

sentenced to over ten years, her mom received life imprisonment.

Moreover, the Newmans’ family business had fallen into Camryn’s hands.

Carrie was only aware of her parents’ sentences and the fate of their business. She was clueless about

anything else.

No one relayed any information from the outside world to her.

Carrie’s main goal after her release was to get her revenge on Camryn. If it were not for that blind girl,

she would not have offended Serenity and Zachary or dragged her parents down.

Even if her parents were at fault, she was the reason their crimes were exposed and imprisoned.

Nothing would have been discovered if not for Camryn.

It was all Camryn’s fault.

Carrie resented two people the most at that moment, Camryn and Serenity.

It would not be easy to target Serenity as she was the York family’s missus and trained in martial arts.

On the other hand, Camryn would be an easy target since she was blind.

Carrie lowered her head after staring at the sky for a while. She felt a little dizzy from the sunlight

shining into her eyes.

She started walking after a short rest.

She missed having a luxury car for traveling and maids serving her back home. She used to savornovelbin

exquisite food and wore branded items.

However, not even a single person was there to fetch her from the prison.
