Chapter 2379

Hayden looked callously at Celine before leaving.

Her team of bodyguards worked together. Some of them stopped Celine from getting close while the

rest escorted Hayden to leave.

The scene was a spectacle, drawing a crowd of onlookers who gathered outside the hotel to watch the

drama unfold.

The hotel guests and staff had seen it all before, but they could not help but be drawn to a good juicy

drama.

The staff members of Fortress Hotel were proud that their boss managed to beat all his competition.

They believed Hayden was meant to be with their boss.

They were gleeful.

“Mr. Queen! Mr. Queen! Don’t leave! I just want to have a word with you. Just a quick moment.”

Celine struggled to break free from Hayden’s security detail. She tried to catch up to Hayden, but she

was no match for the bodyguards.

Her smile faded. She watched Hayden’s receding figure and yelled, “Mr. Queen, I just want to

accompany you to attend Mr. York’s wedding.”

Hayden was attending the wedding in Wiltspoon without a plus-one.

Somehow, Celine got it into her head that she could be Hayden’s companion to witness the beautiful

matrimony between Zachary and Serenity.

Although Zachary was her rival’s cousin, all the elites were attending the wedding. Celine could rub

shoulders with more movers and shakers than she could possibly imagine.

Celine needed to consider her future too.

Hayden ignored Celine’s screams. Protected by her bodyguards, she crossed the road and returned tonovelbin

Jensburg Hotel. She soon got into her Maybach.

The moment Hayden’s bodyguards stopped blocking her way, Celine sprinted across the road, causing

the incoming cars to brake suddenly. The honking quickly followed.

Celine could not care less. She ran to the entrance of Jensburg Hotel, but Hayden’s car was nowhere

to be seen. Not even her security convoy was there.

“He got away again.”

Celine stomped her foot.

She put on her best makeup for nothing.

Having waited outside Fortress Hotel for over ten minutes, she was able to catch Hayden leaving but

alas, she did not manage to stop Hayden.

She touched her face and lowered her gaze to look at herself. She was hotter than Kevin.

Kevin was a man. He had a flat chest.

Celine was confident in her body and knew that she could attract any man if she wanted to.

All the men who passed by Celine while she was waiting for Hayden outside Fortress Hotel would take

a second look at her.

“Hayden, you must be blind to ditch a voluptuous woman like me for Kevin. Are you gay? Why aren’t

you interested in any of the women over the years?”

Many had claimed Hayden swung the other way. Yet, Celine refused to believe that fact.

She had to suspect that Hayden was a closet gay. Hayden only came out following Kevin’s pursuit.

Despite her feelings, Celine had to accept defeat. She stormed away.

Her car was parked right outside Fortress Hotel.

‘Damn you, Kevin, for taking Hayden away from me!’

Celine condemned Kevin in her mind, but she took the opportunity to criticize Caroline too.

If Caroline had not returned and reclaimed her place in the family, Celine would still be the heiress of

the Fisher household. She would still hold influence in Jensburg, unlike now where she was trying hard

to stay relevant in high society.

Meanwhile, Caroline stepped into her office and sneezed multiple times. She pulled out a tissue and

wiped her nose.

“The impostor must be talking about me behind my back again.”

Her office phone rang when she sat down and she picked up the call.
